{Orion} :: The hunter, the son of fire :: Princess come, princess go, princess come, princess speak. Through it all, Orion reclined in a tree above the boulder pile Black Star and Alexa currently stood upon, stretching out across a branch and leaning against the trunk. Bored out of his mind, Orion sat through it all. At one point during the speech, he decided to move. Hooking his legs over the branch he allowed himself to slip to the side. He swung for a moment, hanging upside-down by his knees, right between Black Star and Alexa.
"Well, this offers a different view of things." His fiery red hair hung down and his ice-blue eyes gleamed with a mischievous light. A broad smile graced his features, fun, flirty, and dangerous all at once. He extended a hand to the princess.
"Why hello there, Princess! I am the mighty Orion, intelligent, swift, trouble-maker. How lovely to meet you." Turning his head to Black Star, he continued smiling. "So, you showed her Murate? Isn't it just fabulous, Princess?"
Orion curled his body upward, similar to a vertical sit-up, before releasing himself to swing again. "Black Star, I'm bored. Can we go launch a raid on Ohanzee again? I need to have some fun with my guard friends again. These trees are making me claustrophobic." Orion was bored, and he and boredom did not mix well. Think of a child with ADHD, colorful Sharpies, and a perfectly clean white wall.
"Ooh, I know! We could take little miss princess her and show her around town! Ohanzee would be a nice finish to our little Everything-Magrej-Has-Done tour!" Laughing, Orion swung slightly. In a flash, he fell from the tree, flipping around to land on his feet between the two women.
Standing between and slightly behind them, he acted like the proud bodyguard. He adjusted himself so he was standing with his feet shoulder-width apart and his hands in loose fists upon his hips. He looked dead ahead, an unusually serious expression on his face. {Orion} :: The hunter, the son of fire ::

The princess Alexa jumped sharply, a slight squeak escaping her mouth as the young man dropped in between them, hanging from the tree. She was by far not even close to being used to the ways of the Grellon and she smoothed a hand across her skirts, more out of habit then anything else now as she turned to look at the fiery haired man, her eyes wide for a moment as she listened to his words. Her fingers laced together and her hands lifted towards her chest as she watched him thoughtfully, her ice blue eyes wide for a brief moment in surprise but after a few moments, she began to giggle despite herself.
The man was no doubt skilled in some sort of wicked and deadly skill that she yet to learn of, he was obviously a man that followed the queen outlaw but she smiled all the same, accepting his outstretched hand, knowing that her mother would skin her if she caught her touching the hands of any of the Grellon but she rather could not help herself. The flame haired man was amusing and inviting in a strange and drawing way, seeming to pull her in like a wicked gravitational pull as his cheeky words spilled forward, casting a glance to Black Star briefly, ever more intigued over her people once again as her gaze wandered back to Orion once more as she offered a polite smile and a curt nod but her cheeks flushed slightly at the possibility of seeing Ohanzee but she refrained from allowing them to realize that the dead lands of the Murate people were telling on her, stiffening her spine instead with a faint smile, "I would love to come. As the future Queen of Ellsinora I am indeed entitled to a trip to see my enemies' home land, am I not?" she implied with an arched brow, glancing between Black Star and Orion inquiringly this time. As her gaze came back to settle upon the vibrant form of the man at her side, she smiled once more, her eyes twinkling gently with a spark of interest, glancing over him briefly to the hilt of his sword as well as the cover that shielded the blade inside from view, whistling softly at the sight as she thought of her own studded sword and the fact that she was not properly trained to use it. She inclined her head slightly to him, now this was quite obviously his skill.
She huffed softly and folded her hands together once more, "It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Orion. And for the record, I am not little." she replied respectfully with a huff as she lifted her chin slightly higher and promptly pushed her mass of golden honey tresses back down her back, rather attempting to appear every inch the eldest princess that she truly was at the moment though she realized just how far out of her element she was at the momeny despite the fact that she escaped every night for freedom. However at this moment in time her hair escaped it's elegant, crowning braid in whisps, the edges of her skirts were tattered and dirty and the hiking boots that she had apparently now stolen were very evident but still, she attempted to show them her stature, rather certain that she could prove that she was not holding a heart of marshmallow in her system, she could handle what ever they threw at her despite her previous fainting problem.

Black Star wasn't startled when Orion made his surprise entrance. He always seemed to be popping out of no where. An amused grin fell across her face while listening to the conversation between outlaw and royalty. Once again she did the old habit of playing with her dagger, " No Orion, we aren't going to play with the Muratians. We're going to go play hide and seek with the Ellsinora castle guards. You are not taking Alexa to Murate as we need her alive yet. You can take her there when she ticks me off." Black Star's tone was of one who pretty much expected Alexa to tick her off. Everyone irritated the outlaw queen at one time or another, she had a quick temper.
Black Star leaped and caught the bottom branch of the tree. She threw her weight back and forth until she had enough momentum to let go and land gracefully on the limb. She proceeded to make herself comfortable. Lazily laying with her back to the branch with one leg hanging down and the oppisite arm also hanging down, one arm behind her head and eyes closed to the sunlight she relaxed. Yawning she opened one eye and looked at Alexa, "She did make me lose some sleep though. But we'll save it for Kiyer. I want to make sure that Alexa and Tryphena actually go to the castle and not wander about like a couple homeless ruffians. We will see them inside the castle and hopefully avoid the queen. A thought crossed her mind and she winced a little, " Koari and the fairy queen were headed for Kiyer as well. Hopefully, Kaori doesn't fry me. I'm suppose to guard the mountains while he's away. He fried a stupid woodcutter just a day or two ago.I have little desire to see you all become dragon chow." Black Star relaxed again and yawned, stretching out. Kaori was a softly but hated things to go wrong in his precious mountains. Well, this was a war. It would have to be how it was for now. The rest of the Grellon could protect Orestes for a day or two.

{Orion} :: The hunter, the son of fire :: Orion laughed when the princess agreed to see Ohanzee. It was a mischievous laugh, one common for Orion. For a moment, he imagined leading Ellsinora's eldest princess around the city. Running from the guards, leaping across rooftops, slipping down dark alleys, laughing at the guards trying to find them. His laughter died, however, when Black Star spoke. "But I won't let her be killed! I've never been caught, have I?" Orion puffed out his chest in a mock show of strength.
When his leader swung herself into the tree, he raised his hand slightly as if asking a question in class. "Um, I do believe that was my seat..." His voice drifted off as a perfectly innocent look crossed his face.
The moment Black Star mentioned Kaori, Orion burst out laughing. "Dragon shmagon. Danger? I laugh in the face of danger. Ahahahaha!" The fiery young man swung back into the tree. He was restless, and needed to do something. If not, he would surely go insane.
"Well, since I can't bring princess to Ohanzee, can I escort her back to the castle? I promise I won't get my head chopped off. And I won't become a dragon snack. Pretty please?" He batted his eyelashes at Black Star, looking like an innocent child begging for a rare treat.
Bored again, he took up his previous position, hanging upside-down by his knees. He looked around, watching the people of the Grellon do their thing. He swung back and forth, bored with nothing better to do.
Like a cat, he climbed onto the branch, then higher into the tree. When he reached the uppermost branches, he looked about. "Hey, I think I can see my house from here—wait, never mind. I don't have a house. Oh well." Orion shrugged, then turned to look in the opposite direction. "Ooh, a castle. Is that were Princess lives? Looks like it would be fun to climb around on." Looking down, he could just barely see Alexa and Black Star through the leafy branches.
Walking to the end of the small branch he was on, he stepped off and fell through the air. Catching hold of a branch a quarter of the way up the trunk, he slowed his fall before leaping gracefully to the ground. A broad smile spread across his face and his blue eyes sparkled. "Adrenaline. Gotta love it." {Orion} :: The hunter, the son of fire ::

Alexa's ice colored gaze watched after the fiery young man as he swung among the trees and she smiled patiently, tilting her head curiously at him as he swung among the tree before her gaze swiveled to Black Star once more with a curt nod, "I am pleased to go home, but nothing will be accomplished without my sister returning with me." she replied with a curt nod as she sent a glance around herself, curious where her sister was at the moment.
Sighing softly, she turned her gaze back to Orion once more, curious as to what sort of life the outlaw lived. She wondered what it would be like simply to throw aside her dresses for a pair of fitte leather pants, a cotton shirt and good looking boots like Black Star, to swing in the trees with them and to more or less live care free, it intrigued her and she stared thoughtfully into the trees after the red haired male, just able to catch slight snippets of his fiery shaded hair through the branches before she lowered her gaze once more with a soft sigh, rather wishing for a moment that she could live care free like the rest of them, that she could stay just a little longer and that she could really toss away her skirts for a more appropriate outfit and some adventure. After all, that was what she lived for at night, was it not? She nibbled her lower lip against a slight smile at the thought, knowing that she would be skinned if the queen found out about her adventures.
Sighing softly, she turned her gaze back to Orion once more with a tilt of her head this time as she inquired to his question this time, "Good sir, you seem to have adoration for the excitement in life, as do I though as you can imagine it can be limited and yet, since you are, why would you want to travel with such a boring soul as myself?" she asked, curious what applied to Orion enough for him to volunteer to deliver her back to her home at the current time for as he swung through the trees, she was sure that there were other things that he would enjoy doing much more then leading her back to the castle once again.

A s t e r i o n Meanwhile, Asterion and Tryphena had been learning more and more about each other under the glowing morning light, that odd bluish, white luminosity before the direct golden rays of the sun came. They were just about the peak through the mountains. Balancing his incredible weight on a boulder, the Minotaur glanced to his side, where the young Princess was seated. She was so delicate. He had smelt the presence of her sister while in the pre-dawn hours of his patrol, and so had run back to the golden beauty, woke her from her slumber and insisted on her coming to see the sunrise, describing it as an event much better viewed from the mountains than castle towers. It was true enough, but to show her the brilliant pink and orange glow of the morning sky, melting away the deep black-blue of the night and watching the final stars retreat into the folds of the racing shadows of night, was not the only reason for him bringing her here. He did not want her Sister to find her.
"You like it?"
His deep baritone voice murmured hopefully, wondering if she thought it worth waking up for. Of course it was truly a sight to see, but did she think so? He did not want to have angered her or annoyed her by forcing her to rise before the sun had. She was after all, a Princess. As far as he knew, they could do whatever they pleased - which included sleeping to any hour of the day. Asterion wondered if perhaps she would leave after all.. His chest tightened. He wanted to learn more about her, spend more time with her. He'd only just met her! It wasn't fair that he be with her for only such a short time and then have her ripped from his eager grasp. It was too cruel. She hadn't even screamed, or shown any fear, any disgust. She was the first female, besides Black Star, to look at him for longer than a few seconds, and to hold his gaze with a kind expression, a gentle expression. He didn't want to loose that. With his keen animal ears he had heard the speech of her sister and the cries of the Grellon. Black Star would soon enough find them. And then so would Alexa.

Alexa took a small breath and slowly she sank down to sit upon the smooth stones that she had previously sat upon to Orion's silence, instead turning her gaze slowly around herself as she tucked her knees towards her chest, feeling rather more alone then ever as the weight of the work load that she had laid ahead of her, opened up. Black Star had pledged her help to her, but still. She was suddenly aching for home. She had begun to figure that obviously Tryphena really did not have plans to come home, or something amiss would have appeared by now. She was beginning to grow frustrated. Now that they had brought her here, shown her the world around herself and made her focus on the problems ahead, she no longer had a choice. She didn't have time to focus on what she wanted though her sisters held a luxury that she did not. She sighed softly and pressed her palms to her eyes, feeling more or less like crying just then but instead, she slowly stood, straightening her skirts with a sigh as she turned to face the outlaw queen and Orion, her chin lifting sharply now as she came to stare up at them with hidden emotions in her eyes as she gathered her skirts, no longer caring about showing her boots any longer as she turned to face the outlaws.
This was ridiculous, she had too much to do and she needed to get home. Taking a deep breath, she sighed softly as she glanced around herself though she did not expect to see her sister anywhere and her gaze simply returned to the outlaw queen once more, "Just tell me then, Black Star, my sister is in no danger, is she?" she implied simply, rather coming to the conclusion that her younger sister must have been coming to the same emotional state as herself. This was a wonderful place despite the meager conditions and she longed for freedom and the chance to love without being restricted as she wondered whether her sister did now. If she just myteriously disappeared, then perhaps that would work just as well as taking her back. She sighed once again, clenching her teeth as her eyes filled with pain briefly again, dropping her gaze for a moment before she carefully tied her emotions away once more and she glanced back to Black Star again, "Forget it, I can get myself back to the castle on my own. I trust that you will take good care of my sister here for if I hear that anyone has harmed her in any way and that my suspicions were false, I shall bring a wrath upon your village." she promised, offering Black Star trust over her own family, something she would not have previously done. "I shall thank you for extending a hand in returning me to my home but I have a fellow friend that can take me. I will whip up a story for my parents over Tryphena's disappearance, and we will be as close to friendly partners as we can be, agreed?" she inquired but she did not wait for an answer, meeting Black Star's gaze once more before she offered a curt and thankful nod at Orion's offer before she turned away from them and hopped lithely from the stone, not bothering to meet the gaze of any of the men for her emotions were far too flustered at the moment, "Oh, and I would appreciate the men delivered in the morning if any desire to join the service, and my army." she added over her shoulder. She sent a silent request to Zypher but she did not yet wait for her ride, pausing as she climbed the rocky incline and sent a brief glance out across the village of the Grellon one last time, offering a longing and pained sigh before she turned away and stepped out lithely across the stone once again.

Black Star glanced down lazily and answered Orion, "You and I know how to avoid getting caught. The princess isn't a street rat and therefore does not have the survival skills that we do. Not yet anyway. As for Kaori, have you seen him lately? I swear that dragons gets bigger every day. Yes, that is where he lives." She just kept interjecting and answering his questions as fast as he asked them. Black Star was pretty use to his adhd.
Tryphena watched in quiet amazement as his strength and felt pretty happy. True, the outlaw leader still had some barriers up but as a whole the Grellon had already been nice. Especially Asterion, she was fast falling in love with him. She nodded and smiling watched the sun rise, "It is beautiful!" She breathed and took a seat next to him. This was perfect and she was utterly happy here. She could not hear anything in the camp and so that seemed far away. Instead it was herself and Asterion watching the dawn. She yawned and stretched a bit, accidentally brushing against him. She pulled back and looked away shyly. Not in horror of course, but it made her hot to even look at him now. She watched the dawn again, enjoying the sensation on her face.
Black Star opened her eyes and say up suddenly with Alexa's words. The outlaw wrinkled her nose in disgust and shook her head, "No need to sound peevish princess." The outlaw leaped to the ground, "Look, your sister is with my second-in-command and trust me, the way he's been mooning over her I'm pretty sure that he would let me die before she got hurt." She chuckled good naturedly and continued, "Actually, they are both behaving like love-struck kids. Never thought I'd see my Asterion act like this, but anyway. I did grant your sister sanctuary here and I'm afraid I can't force her to leave. She's terrified of Magrej and all that, for good reason. Orion and I can escort you back at least to the gates. Otherwise I do believe Orion will start gnawing on things like some frantic pup." Right on cue a couple of the children ran and brought back three cloaks. Black Star took one and offered another to Alexa, "Shall we leave then? I promise you Alexa, Tryphena will be very safe. If she desires to return I will personally escort her to you." Black Star yanked the hood of her personal black cloak over her head and looked to Alexa. Whenever Alexa wanted to leave, they would go to Kiyer.

Sighing, Alexa nodded slightly to Black Star in return. At least her sister would be happy and while on one hand she was irritated, her little sister not even past seventeen was flouncing about like a love struck puppy, no matter if something actually happened at home. The heavens forbid if Magrej did attack and Tryphena was the only one left to take the throne. She rolled her eyes and simply cast a glance towards the gate instead, "I am ready to leave." she stated simply with a slight nod as she accepted a cloak and secured it around her shoulders with a small sigh.
As she straightened, she stiffly turned her thoughts from her own sister, now only having to face Abbie of which she considered simple as they did not often speak, holding different personalities they rather took two differente directions and instead, Alexa grit her teeth, ready to go home not necesarily to be pampered, but to get to work. It seemed as if every other place on earth was running at a normal, serene pace and her own world was beginning to churn with hyper speed, whether it was simply because she was gritting her teeth and biting the steel or not, she hardly knew.
Either way, she was quite obviously ready to go home, murmuring a simple thanks to Black Star as she did believe her at this point and wouldn't argue. Her sister seemed able to care for herself and she quite literally didn't have time to worry and fester over her. Sighing, she picked her way forward without waiting to see if Orion was ready or not as she stepped out across the stone that she now stared at, watching as each of her feet flicked forward to step forward and pull away more of the stone as she made her way towards the gate in utter silence at this point.
She raised her gaze only when she reached the gate, casting a glance to Black Star and she pondered what it was that Black Star felt each day but she quickly stumped her thoughts before they began, it didn't matter. She had a job to do, a responsibility. With thoughts of her people in mind, a tinkle of a smile lit her features this time before she turned to leave the seeming sanctuary of the Grellon once again.
