..:Titania:..
The Queen's morning thus far had been busy. Asteria had been quite demanding today from feeding time in the morning to taking care of her people. There seemed to have been many things to do and with Asteria at the age of six by now, Titania was full fledged trouble maker at the moment and she wanted to get her nose into everything and investigate everything and she nearly always wanted her mother's attention. It was a strain to get the little one to entertain herself but it rather quite often seemed that sticking the fairy dragon in with a few of the young sprites of the Fairy Realm seemed to entertain her for hours and so Titania did it often to encourage her to entertain herself and become more comfortable with the sprites themselves.
Now she sat perched atop a slight hill with a handful of berries held before herself. Today she was wrapped in soft folds of silk in the color of the sun. They were bright and showed off her golden hair quite nicely. Her eyes were emerald green at the moment, sparkling gems against a sea of gold from her tanned, glowing skin to the tresses that tumbled along her back she was quite the sight. However she was simply glad for a moment of peace. At the moment she would be happy to have a conversation with another adult. She was furious with Asteria's father and she quite literally wondered why the hell she had bothered trusting a dragon. He had in turn broken her heart and left her baby without a father. The fact of the matter was that it simply blazed a fire within her that spurred her to take further care of her people for these were who she truly belonged to. These were her people all in all and she now could devote more time to them. There was certainly nothing stopping her from dreaming of days when she could see herself falling in love with one of her own kind but it would be the death of her to trust another creature outside of her own realm again. Her daughter was a different story and she adored Asteria and loved her with all of her heart. Even if the little one did not look like her mother, she was still her flesh and blood and she would never allow her a memory of her true father for he was not there and so was worth nothing in the life of his daughter who would grow up without him.
At the moment, the baby was playing about with a few young sprites and Titania was quite pleased. Smiling, the queen leaned back on one elbow as she flipped another blueberry into her mouth. With the sweet and bitter flavors of true blueberry cascading across her tongue she tilted her head into the rays of the sun. Her golden hair tumbled along her back and spread across the lush grass that she sat upon as she gazed out across the site of her people with a soft smile. Silent but at peace the queen sat on her own.
