Have you ever wanted to join a role playing site that allows you to role play horses and humans on the same site?
¨ There are many horse and human RPG's out there that you can choose from. They are all fun, but they are fairly restricted. Some are just a Horse Academy RPG, where a horse is a prop while you role play the human and put them through schooling. Others might simply be a Stable RPG where you role play at a single stable. Well, on the Meadows, we allow you to role play wherever you want! We have plenty of boards for everyone to have fun in!
Have you ever wanted to role play a domestic horse while someone else role plays the rider?
¨ Yes, you are allowed to create a domesticated horse and put it up for sale. YOU get to role play the horse even after it's sold! Though your horse wont be able to talk English while riders are around, you can make them talk to one another without simply saying, "The horse neighed to the horse in the next stall."
¨ You can role play the horse's action and reaction to different scenarios given by the rider. If the rider is leading the horse out to the pasture, you can make the horse prance it's way there or thrash it's head or get excited because he is finally outside.
¨ You see, on The Meadows, the horse is not simply a prop. It is a horse and horses have their own mind. It's boring when you just role play a human riding a horse by yourself, so why not do it together? Of course, that doesn't mean you are not allowed to role play both rider and horse by yourself! You can! Which is why this site is so great, because it is diverse!
Do you want to open up your own farm/ranch/stables?
¨ Just because you join The Meadows doesn't mean you have to live in the Town of Noakwood. You can open up your own business (or private) ranch/farm/stables! You may go to the Auction Barn or the Sales Barn and buy your own horses to put in your ranch!
¨ Into racing? Open up your own racing business! Buy racehorses from the Auction Barn or Sales Barn and train them. Once you think you're ready, enter in one of the races!
¨ You don't have to enter into just a race, you can enter in many shows! There are a variety of shows we have from barrel racing to dressage!
Do you want to create your own herd?
¨ If you are not interested or simply like role playing wild horses more, you have that opportunity here! The Meadows allows you to claim land and begin your life from there. As of now, we have lands set up and created so all you have to do is choose which one you think sounds best for your character.
¨ Challenges for land or mares may be made. Bachelor stallions may come to a herd and challenge the band stallion for his land or mare(s). The challenge, if accepted, will be taken to a battlefield where you will realistically role play the fight out. Protect your loved ones and your pride; land.
¨ You are not completely safe from humans though! Watch out because humans will host round ups and can come to your herd and take mares/foals and even stallions.
¨ Lastly, everything here is kept realistic. Wild horses may not speak with the humans but you can express it through squeals, neighs, etc.
