Name: Larentia Phillips
Age: 85
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Nationality: Ellsinora
Looks: Age has taken away Larentia’s former beauty, which was said to be enough that even the king of Murate would be captivated. She is a small woman, standing at 5’5 and slightly hunched over. She has wrinkles, of course, and long grey hair. But, her eyes are not clouded; the brilliant blue orbs shine as brightly as they did when she was sixteen and her ears and heart are doing quite well, thank you very much. The only obvious health issue seems to be the limp in her leg; because of this limp, Larentia uses a cane to move around.
As said before, Larentia has long grey hair, which she usually ties back into a braid. Said braids falls down to the middle of her back. The cane the old women carries is carved from a stick her father had given to her when she was three; it has the outlines of various dragons upon it, the largest one snaking its way up the wood. Its mouth becomes the handle. One will most often find Larentia wearing earthy colored clothes; she tends to wear simple dresses, but sometimes she’ll slip on a shirt and some trousers.
Personality: Do not let her age deceive you- Larentia is a keen old lady. Very little passes by her. Her intelligence, combined with her age, makes her something along the lines of a historian, though she rarely talks about the large events in the past. Her tales focus on small people; people no one wants to remember.
Larentia is fairly kind, but if she feels that someone is not telling the truth, or plans on harming her or someone she loves, the women turns into a fiery snake. She may be old, but she still knows how to make a man crumple to the ground (Vulcans, anybody?). Larentia is also very quirky; she is full of odd habits and saying, some of which make little to no sense when she says them.
Lastly, Larentia was once involved in voodoo. Not the dark, evil voodoo. The good kind. The Mama Odie kind. She no longer practices it, and she advises most to stay away, but sometimes one can get her to reveal a secret or two.
