I had planned to create a fantasy rpg that would have high activity, lots of members, you know the drill. I was surprised though at how many of my own rpg buddies were actually eager for the rpg. In the last 24 hours we have had over 50 posts, all of them were actual rpg posts not just bare minimum things. We also have nearly all the cannons filled.
I am seriously thinking of making this rpg solely for people we actually know. As in, no one but the members would even know this place exists.
It would still function the same around here but there are pros and cons to this idea.
The pros-
No drama queens A LOT more flexibility. I would probably open up the races quite a bit
Cons-
If one person leaves then it can be difficult to keep things going until other players can take their char.
This is just an idea and I really want your opinions. Give me pros, cons, yes, no, and eventually I would like to take a poll vote.

Hmm, really not a bad idea, it's always easier to have only people that you know that way we don't have people we can't identify and then later turn out to throw a fit over something ridiculous and then all of a sudden things go boom. At least with people that you know, there isn't so much drama as you said. ^ Good thought. x)

well I can see that it would work, but I donno, if we do that we are limiting our whole activity on a few people. I think it would be ok but then I dont, in other words Taske dont know xD

Quite honestly, I disagree with this. Totally. I once had a role play site with a group of ten friends. We had a site, like this actually, with every person posting at least three times a day, then slowly began to deteriorate. I don't want the same thing to happen to this site.

I have thought about the fact that having more members would mean that it would stay active more steadily then the other way around and the fact being that if someone drops a character, it will be more easier to find someone to replace them. ^

we could always have a zero drama rule, the minuet drama arises a warning is given and if it continues a ban, and then so on so forth.

Taske you know me lol I see any drama and POOF I hit the ban button. I can tolerate a lot of things but I despise drama queens (OOC of course) and will take care of the issue within seconds. I may not even give second chances.
