The black Aztec stallion strolled forward silently, twin harks twitching on top of his poll as he listened to the mare walk just beside them. He stood 16 hands tall, and was over all well muscled. His crest naturally arched, holding his crown in a handsome position. He had a broad chest, and croup, banner cascading from its anchor, and brushing against his hocks delicately. It was hard to imagine this horse being the companion to an assassin, and even harder to imagine it's companion as an assassin. She was too quiet. She came off shy, but once she came to know someone, she was quite the spitfire, and witty when she wanted to be. She had quite the temper, but rather than let it out, she would bottle it all up, which wasn't necessarily the best way to deal with thinks. The stallions nostrils flared for a moment, before he let out a nicker, and then flicked his banner of raven. Other than that, there was hardly any other noise other than the breeze brushing past foliage, and the creak and groaning of leather.
So, you might be wondering why two assassin are traveling to Murate. One from Ellsinora, the other from Murate. What would drive the Ellsinora women to venture off into Murate? Honestly, she didn't know, but she did know that she needed to do something else. There was nothing for her in Ellsinora. Who would want anything to do with an assassin? If she got the chance, she would work for the king of Murate, though that didn't mean she had to be happy about it. Her mouth set in a grim line for a moment as she thought about what she would have to do. She ran one of the split reins through her fingers, thinking to herself for a few moments. Black Veil found his own way through the foliage, following the little foot path that was created by past travelers. She threw a side glance to the mare, and the women that was accompanying her stallion, and herself. Biting her lower lip, she looked away once more.
Her fiery red hair was pulled up with a emerald ribbon that matched her eyes, her complexion sweet, but deadly. She had but a simple sword, and simple bow and arrows, but she was deadly with them. You could almost even say she was an expert. She didn't need all the fancy stuff. She was agile, and nimble, able to climb, and fight with the best of them. The only down side? She was quiet. Shaking her head, she finally parted her pink lips to speak. Her voice was light, and frothy. How long does it take to get to Murate? She asked her companion, switching her emerald gaze from Black Veil to Aurora.
