Welcome, to the wedding of Titania and Kaori...
It was indeed a wedding of a century. That of the marriage between the Queen of Fairies, and the Lord of Dragons. Queen Titania and Lord Kaori to be married together in ceremony and celebration before the Celeste Falls just outside of Ellsinora. The morning had buzzed, busy and now, with the late afternoon sun rolling around and sunset approaching, the ceremony was preparing to take place as the celebration would lead on into the night after their words of matrimony in the shades of the setting sun. The place was alight with sprites flitting about and flora littered every seeming inch of the area. There were fine wooden chairs for any and all guests that may arrive and the forest was lit softly with glowing lights upon a path that would bring all guests to the scene of the wedding and later, where they would celebrate in the outskirts of Kiyer among the trees with music and provisions for all to attend.
The landscape was breathtaking, as always. For even without the wide expanse of flowers in every kind layered and grown around the falls and the forest itself, Celeste Falls was a dazzling sight in and of itself. The sprites had managed to light the trees softly with tiny twinkling lights that dazzled the branches and leaves and streamers created carefully from thinned and died parchment in shades of pink, greens, and ivory. The back of the chair was strewn in jade silks folded into charming bows and there was laid a silk ivory strip down the center of the chairs that lined either side of the aisle. Roses bloomed about the falls and orchids lined the edge of the tide pool where ivory and pink lilies nestled on pads within the crystal clear water. Lilac and Lavender scented the air as it sprouted further out among the trees, lining the walk way that led to the scene of the wedding itself. The celebration clearing had also been adorned with floral as well and it was a place where later a few musicians would show to fuel the celebration behind the wedding.
The Queen, now nearly half way through her fifth month of pregnancy, was quite obviously showing by this point. Her swollen stomach was well rounded beneath the silk and lace that draped her form with room still to grow for she still had time before her little one was to be born. She stood hidden within her own realm for now as sprites flurried about, finishing the last of the preparations for the Queen. She had been dressed in a gown of intricate lace, her skin showing with a soft glow from beneath the lace along her arms for the rest of her body had first been draped in a sweeping ivory gown beneath the lace cover to shield her body from view and yet to allow the ivory lace to shine. It was sewn in intricate, swirling patterns that represented much of nature from the sun to the moon and the floral that was painted in nearly every crevice outside of the falls.
Despite the fact that the Queen was never nervous, the fact that she was indeed the Queen of the Sprites had always given her strength and confidence and she never feared any other but now, with her palms settled over her swollen belly, she worried. She was truly nervous for all eyes to be upon her and her love. She was not nervous to be married to the Lord of Dragons, she was nervous as to what the people would think of the child that grew steadily within her. She had encouraged this wedding for the sake of her child. She did not want anyone to have any reason to doubt that her child was to be respected just as any other and just as highly as she herself. She did not view her child as a half breed and she expected no other to, either. Never the less, she calmed herself with a soft sigh as she straightened and turned to face the young female sprite whom had been working at her back, folding her hair into intricate and swirling braids that in turn folded into one and laced down her back. Smiling gently, the Queen thanked the sprite before moving on with a soft sigh.
The Queen did not apply any form of make up or color to her face or skin for she had no need. The radiance and glow about her was brighter and crisper then ever and the shade of gold only enticed her natural beauty, even within her current state. She was now just as beautiful as she always had been and with the lace that covered her body with the sweeping skirt that danced around her ankles and the lace that lined her arms straight out to the back of her hands, she emanated a wild and tamed beauty yet to be matched. At once, she was indeed ready for her own wedding. Ignoring the urge to step out from the falls and to greet her guests, she instead settled upon her throne and closed her eyes, imagining just how many people might be waiting there outside of the falls for the appearance of the Queen. She was no Queen of humans, so would they care? She knew of the excitement that buzzed about her own people for all had looked forward to this event for some time, ever since the official announcement which had from there spread to every corner of the mountains, and of Ellsinora. With her eyes closed she allowed her worries to filter through, and to fade away. Soon. Soon she would be facing her fiancée and would be in turn facing a life with the Lord Dragon. Her gift to the dragon was safely secured within a small hollow box, protected by one of her own warrior sprites of which she would reveal in due time and until then the trinket would remain hidden and kept from view.
The Queen had fallen into somewhat of a thoughtful silence. Her eyes which had taken on a shade of gold for the occasion remained closed for quite some time before she could hear the at first soft tinkling of sound and of music that drifted towards her, steadily growing louder and seeming to beckon her to arrive at her own event. She could not hear much more over the rolling hills that were tucked behind the falls, the world that she had woven and created within her own hands rested there and beyond where her guests would be seated, waiting for the Queen of Fairies to arrive for her own wedding. Waiting for Queen Titania to show herself from within the realm of her own creation, the Fairy Realm.
