The King walked slowly along the lite pathways, Crevan was purposely taking the long way. The Guards that followed close at his back where a discomfort and he ordered them to step back two steps, and they did. Unbearably small centimeter steps. "I Will promise your save passage. The Queen controls much but i will always be able to top her orders. You will not be harmed by the Queen or Abigail." Crevan stopped and his heart skipped several beats. "You mean? She is safe then. My Tryphena is safe then. Good. As long as she is safe and well, next you see her tell her that i send my love, would you?" Crevan rubbed his neck and for the first time sense arriving at the festival he looked at the calm fox that followed him at his feet. He stooped and picked her up and began petting her in a light manner then after she gave him a small nip he set her down. It was almost as if 'Sheri were reminding the king to stay focused with the business at hand. He straightened up and he took on his 'King' look. He grew taller and his face turned into that of a king with matters on his mind. He looked at Black Star and her companions "There will be no talk of dungeons and no one will be going tonight, after all this is a festival. I understand there is much that i do not know. Like this Jahanarwa, was she not dead? and the sky gem. I believe it is the real thing, power rolls off of the stone like no other that i have felt. There is somethings that i am not seeing, but you know them Black Star. I ask you for a moment or more of your time and many more things if something happens with the gem tonight." The king rubbed his jaw and it looked like he'd grown an inch of stubble in the last 10 minuets. The King looked at Black Star and at her raging eyes. The outlaws eyes all raged like fires were lite in their minds. Fists clenched. Something was stirring up emotions, and Crevan did not like not knowing. Crevan looked at the coming Hall and stopped and looked at Black Star. Waiting, and silent for whatever was coming.

Black Star at first said nothing but listened to the King. She too was pulled her full height, be it only five and a half feet, and look every inch the wild untamed tempest she really was known to be. Pushing back her hood she pushed the dark hair away from her pretty young face. For an outlaw she was surprisingly pretty and a bit young to be running the black market in both Ellsinora and Murate and who knows where else. She waited until they had entered the grand hall before doing anything but walking in silence. The outlaw was thinking of just how she wanted this to go.
As soon as they reached the grand hall Black Star calmly turned around and slammed the doors on the queen's face. The "guardian" was also left on the outside of the room. That also kept out many of the guards. She had very little compassion for either the queen or the guards and so had absolutely no remorse. Silently, after their leader made a hand motion, the outlaws darted around the immense room checking for something that was not there. They were checking for any spies or hidden guards. Only then did the outlaw queen speak. I beg that you forgive our strange ways but let's just say I have trust issues." Silently the three outlaw men took positions around the room, close at hand but far away to hear very little.
Black Star gracefully took a seat, " Your observation skills do you credit. I must say, you are rather strange though. Very few people allow me the right to breathe, let alone having a king who thought that it was worth speaking to an angry outlaw. It is something to remember. But to the business at hand as prior your request. I do admit, this woman calling herself Jahanarwa is Kaian. Her train and retainers are all Kaian. You are incorrect in your thoughts as to the Guardian's death. If the Guardian was dead, there would be major natural disasters because the balance of nature would have tipped dramatically. Looking at it from that point of view, this woman could indeed be Jahanarwa. Standing Black Star kept her words cold and precise. Her hands were behind her back and she looked for all the world like some great general. " I am angry though because she was foolish enough to be so brash and bold. I know Magrej. He undoubtedly will know about this event by dawn and will come demanding that you give the girl over to him. Personally, I would hand it to him in trade for peace. But that is for you I suppose. "
Black Star had fooled many souls with her excellent acting and had only shared a small part of why she was angry. The king would not get the entire truth from the outlaw who was already glancing toward the window for a chance to escape back to her mountains. This entire castle was a death trap for her and she rather enjoyed living.

If the King respected Black Star before then he respected her even more for her dilagence and silence. Black Star held herself like she was royalty straight from the castle, and if she didnt look like a wild woman then she could pull it off. Entering tue grand hall he jumped slightly when he heard nothing but the slam of the door and the swish of cloaks. He stood in silence with a small smile on his face."its ok. I understand your warryness, seeing as the Queen hates you." The Crevan took a sear in his high chair that looked out over all of the tables and chairs. Crevan gazee at black star and waited as her men searched the room. The door was bending in as the royal guards push and beat the door. "I do believe that they will be royally pissed, dear." Crevan said with a grin."its a nice get away from them being up my ass all of the time. Gives us a nice chance to talk. Yes, why would I not include you in my desions. You are the adjoining kingdom. Even if others not recognize your claim to the mountians I do, you have built your own life and you protect many people and along with strength to lead people makes rulers." Crevan fell silence and his brow furrowed and he rubbed his chin and once Black Star finished he glared at the wall thinking to himself then he said "but if I hand her over then the gem won't work." King Crevan stood up and looked down at Black star and nodded to her."You should go, the Queen will surly rip your head off given the chance. If you have any more advice I would welcome it." The king looked hopefully at Black Star

Black Star smiled a bit. It was not yet time for this king to know the truth. Motioning to her men to start leaving via the window the outlaw shook her head, " The gem only stops working when the guardian is separated from the sky gem. As for the mountains, I am just a resident. Kaori, the dragon lord, is the one who truly own the mountains. As for the queen, she has to catch me first" Chuckling the outlaw moved to leave the room the same way her men did but was surprised to be yanked back as if my invisible hands. Snarling the outlaw queen was yanked to the floor as the door burst open. Jahanarwa moved her hands, apparently the one controlling whatever force that was attacking Black Star.
The outlaw attempted escape and her eyes flashed dangerously, but she did not lose control of her own power. To do that was to send a screaming signal to Magrej that the true Guardian was alive and well. Jahanarwa stepped forward, Your majesty, I fear that this outlaw has somehow clouded your mind. I can feel a small weak magic. Doubtless she is attempting to control you, considering you to be a threat. To help Jahanarwa, Black Star's face was furious with scarlet eyes and she was cursing in some strange language. Jahanarwa made a hand motion toward the King, There my friend, now her curse is lifted. Black Star was hissing and cursing like a Fury from Hades. Jahanarwa made another hand motion and the outlaw queen suddenly seemed to be sedated. The outlaws had already moved away but when their leader was captured they had started to try an reenter, only to be stopped by the guards. Now Black Star was quiet, eyes glazed over in a sedated state.
"Now King of Ellsinora, I beg you to allow this creature to be killed. She is wild and unteachable, already proving that she would harm your own family. She has even dared to place that mind curse over you, which I was able to break. Black Star is a threat, she has Muratian spy written all over her. If you gave me permission, I could even look into her mind and tell you her true thoughts! At least let me do this much for you." The dark-haired woman waited for permission. Her eyes showed actual concern for the king and she really was controlling the outlaw queen.
ooc- haha, quick plot point, the fake guardian does need to see inside Star's mind.

Anger. It was pure and raging anger that flashed over the Kings face. "You WILL Remove your magic from both me and Black Sta! Now!." The King stalked down from his throne and he stood between Black Star and the Guardian. "I will have No magic doing, not now nor ever. If you are to have magic you will obey the laws of comman courtisy." Crevan boiled hautily under the whole gaze of the room. The guard stood at direct attention and tried to make sure they were not noticed, for they new the range of a gentle kings rage. Stay out of his way if he's pissed, it will get messy. Crevan closed his eyes and taking a huge breath he opeed his hazel eyes and his calmness filled the room. "it is not right to control one without their permission. Black Star has no fight with me, only the Queen. I have already assured Black Star her protection while her tonight." The king walked forward to the Guardian and said with a little venom "I trust Black Star with my mind because i know her to be true, she is exactly who she says she is, Jahanarwa. Black Star has no reson to curse me." The king walked away from Jahanarwa. He turned around and gazed at everyone. "No one will have their mind forcefully read tonight Jahanarwa. That is not a good show of manners or of responsability over your powers Guardian." The king paced a moment and he did something that no one would expect, and as he walked to the window he laid out his plan. "IF anyones mind will be read, then it will be with their will, not agianst it. Stand back" the king said, and the guards keeping out Black Star's people moved opening a way for them to come back in. "IF you wish to read Black Star's mind you MUST ask her, not force her. Because as we know Black Star has nothing to hide from us, but it will be her choice." When it came to his mind making up, he took mier moments and when he said the law, it was absolute. No one disobeyed his direct orders.

Jahanarwa was a bit taken back at the King but released the outlaw queen. Black Star slumped to one side and moaned softly. Her men surrounded her and bared their weapons. They did not attack but if anyone made one wrong move, then there would be blood staining the carpet. One darted to one side and grabbed a goblet of some liquid. Moving back he gave it to his leader. This assisted in her revival. Within a few moments she was able to stand shakily. The outlaws formed a tight huddle around her. It was clear that Jahanarwa had just made some very deadly enemies.
Jahanarwa sniffed and rolled her eyes but her attention was brought back to the outlaws as Black Star moved to stand in front of the deadly band. " Read my mind then fool. But I will warn you, you have no wish to see what I have to offer." Jahanarwa chuckled and her eyes gleamed with joy. She would prove that this outlaw was truly a threat. Jahanarwa stepped closer and surprisingly the outlaw men stepped back quickly, almost fearfully. They seemed to know what was about to happen. Black Star tipped her chin down and stared into Jahanarwa's eyes, opening up her mind.
Jahanarwa entered the outlaw's mind. She would regret that move for all eternity. Black Star showed her everything and more. Jahanarwa's breath came faster and her skin paled. She suddenly became frantic and seemed to try to escape, but Black Star finished the job. Black Star used no magic. Jahanarwa in the other hand, when escaping Black Star's mind, stared at the outlaw with horror. Jahanarwa had seen and learned everything about Black Star. Jahanarwa knew about Magrej, the Grellon, even who was the true Kaian Guardian. But Black Star was tired and simply had a sad sort of look in her eyes, pity. Jahanarwa backed away and suddenly left the room in a frenzy.
Black Star sighed and nearly fell in a faint from exhaustion and stress. The outlaw was supported by one of her men. " Protect Jahanarwa, your majesty. Protect her with your kingdom. She may be annoying, but she is the guardian after all." Black Star would allow this woman to parade around as the Guardian. It would give the Grellon more time to complete the real plans. The outlaw men kept their weapons bare and threatened anyone who got to close, even the king himself. They didn't care, they just knew that Black Star would be a heckuva lot safer outside Kiyer. The outlaws left.

Crevan was no expert in magic, he had no idea what had just happened. He raised an eyebrow and looked wonderingly at the whole scene as it unfolded. How exactly one reads anothers mind was a mystery to the king. Possesing no known magic the king could only gaze in wonder at the two. 'She looks far to happy to look into Black Stars mind' Crevan thought as Jahanarwa stole into the others mind. It was a bretch in privacy and shouldnt be done. It was wrong and would not happen again if he could help it. King Crevan watched Jahanarwa flee out the door and he nodded to two guards to go after her. He turned to Black Star. "You mind cant be that frightining. Surly not?" the king thought with a shudder and noticed a chill air through out the Whole room. To chill the grand hall was something else, it was a huge room and took many hours. But two women did it in a few moments. Crevan shook his had and gazed at the door with a sudden urge to return to the warm air of the festival. "Black Star if you still wish you and your people may continue at the festival, or you may leave. You protecion will last until you leave. But all of these dealings are turning this shinning night dark. I will take your advice, but while Jahanarwa is here she will be watched." Crevan thought for a moment " We should find her i suppose." He heaved a sigh and a rinkled forehead. Crevan still had Questions and rules to lay down. Even if she was a Guardian she would abide by the rules of his Kindom. "Are you alright?" The king asked, "Whats it like? To have someone else in your mind? Is it painful?" Before Crevan relized he had asked such ridiculous questions they were out, but he wanted to know.

Black Star paused her men and then motioned them to walk ahead. They did so, though very unwillingly. But disobedience was never tolerated, even within the outlaw band. The outlaw queen took a few steady steps toward the king. A sorta of sad smile had replaced the former flaming fury. " My mind has many things King Crevan, she has been subject to all of them. I only feel pity, for she has seen things that she never thought possible. It will not harm me, but she very well may wake screaming from her nightmares. Jahanarwa may babble some nonsense, but eventually she will return to her normal state. Perhaps she may get confused between which experiences were hers and which are mine for instance. For all I know, she may mix us up in her mind temporarily, saying that she is the wench and I am the guardian. Just pity her and ignore it." With a few deft words, Black Star had cleared the way for Jahanarwa to say anything but to not be believed. This fake guardian had made her bed and by the heavens, Black Star would make her lie in it.
The Grellon queen's facial expression changed again to a spark of mischief, " Never give complete protection to a thief m'lord. But the Grellon is already returning to our mountains. If we are followed, there will be Ellsinorians dead." She glanced over her shoulder to make sure her men were really gone. With a devilish look in her eyes, and making sure there were no more questions or threats, she drew something from her belt, a small pellet. Throwing it with practiced skill, the pellet exploded and created a thick smoke screen. When the smoke lifted, the outlaw queen was no where to be seen and already escaping back to her mountains. She had, after all, lost some sleep and would like to rest again. It had been a rather busy day.

The King had taken a breath of the smoke mistakenly and ended up almost coughing out a lung. "tis' only temporary protection." he mumbled to himself a little annoyed at the smoke. The king rose and taking his crown off he scratched his head and shook out his hair, watching for the Queens deadly glare at him. She hated his longer hair, and keeping it this way Crevan was able to get back at the Queen. He smiled and looking at his head Guard "I Want you to bring me the Guardian. She shouldn't be waltzing around by herself." "Sir" The head guard said with a nod and he marched off to find where the woman had went. Crevan placed his crown back on and began pacing a little. Almost twenty minutes later the Head Guard finally found the Guardian. In a small bow the Guard looked at her and said "You are to come with us." Jahanarwa was sided by two guards and escorted all the way back to the Grand Hall. Walking through the High door the guard said "We have gotten Jahanarwa." Stepping to the side the guards fell away and King Crevan stepped forward. "I do apologize for the rough return, but things must still be discussed if you chose to stay here. You are welcome to stay here in the castle, or in the local in the Blue Boar." Crevan offered with a small nod "but there are certain rules and things i must now about you. And I'm sure you yourself have many questions for me. " Crevan sat down in his throne looking down at Jahanarwa, offering her the next best seat, aside from the queens. "If you are hungry i can have food brought to you, or drink if you are thirsty." Crevan said

Jahanarwa was brought back and thought it to be rather rude. For people who should be thankful she was alive and well, they certainly seemed to have little manners. Huffing a bit she straightened her skirt and took a seat. " I desire to stay here if that works for you." There was no way she was staying in that nasty slimey inn. More over, thanks to her mental connection to Black Star, she knew that was where the outlaw queen did most of her work. Jahanarwa shuddered as if cold. What she had seen in that woman's mind was horrible. But Jahanarwa smiled at the King, "I would like something to drink please. Magic takes quite a bit of energy and that....charming woman, rather surprised me. Her mind was quite.....formidable." She shivered again. Black Star's mind was somewhere she would prefer to never go again.
Jahanarwa sipped the drink brought to her. Her hand twitched a bit nervously, still haunted by the images. " I admit, I would like to know why you listen you Black Star. I understand she is quite the character. But never mind that little matter. What is it you would like to discuss?" She set the drink down and twisted a bit of her skirt. Jahanarwa really hoped he would not ask what she had seen in Black Star's head. Jahanarwa knew that Black Star was the real Guardian and also knew that the Guardian, the true Jahanarwa, had absolutely zero tolerance for anyone who gave out her secret. Jahanarwa would be avoiding leaving the castle as much as possible, though she knew she had made some relentless enemies tonight. The Grellon would not forget that she had placed their leader under a spell. But the Jahanarwa realised something. She had managed to put a spell on the real Guardian! Maybe Black Star wasn't so scary after all?

Crevan frowned, a small twitch in his cheek started. Never had he been talked so disrespectfully to, even when talking to outlaws or drunks or people that don't care for him, not even his wife talked in such a voice. Crevan wanted so badly to look down at her. But he remained his normal self giving away no iratation away except the twitch of his cheek. "Whom i talk and listen to is my business and my choice to do so are also MINE." he said through slightly gritted teeth." I have had you brought back to me so that you may hear the rules of my lands. You Will abide by them or i will take some sort of action." The king stated looking at the guardian."My rules are simple. You will not preform magic on anyone without their permission. If you have magic practices requiring blood or any inhumane or grotesque items you Will not practice them while in my lands. You will also obviously follow the rules that are set everywhere else. You are welcome to stay here. I will have you a fresh room prepared. You may return to the festival, and do make sure your traveling party harms no one. The castle is free roam for you ,save a few rooms like my study. The royal families quarters are off limits" Crevan stood, now dying to get back to the festival and to The dancing and fun."I am assigning you a personal servant, she will show u where ever you wish to see and tell you anything you want to know, providing that it is within her knowledge. If you need anything you can ask me or The queen. There are also certin rooms that you should not enter you servant will warn you of those when the time arises. Feel free to explore the town as you wish."

ooc- nice post : )
Jahanarwa wasn't about to fight the King. She was already making enemies with the real guardian, she did not need to add a king to the list. She nodded demurely and quietly. For now obedience was the key. But Jahanarwa's mind was racing, coming up with a scheme to finish that blasted outlaw queen and take the sky gem herself. Perhaps Black Star could be "persuaded" to hand over the gem. Albeit, then the outlaw would have to die, but that was not an unwelcome thing to Jahanarwa. How much had Black Star seen of her own mind?
That would have t be dealt with later. Curtsing she nodded obediently, " Thank you for you kindness your majesty. I will heed your words and obey. Now if you will excuse me, I will attend to my servants." Backing out of the throne room she walked back to the festival and found her followers scattered to the four winds. It took a bit to find everyone and it was noted that there were several things that would happen, things falling on someone's head for example, that should not have happened. Obviously Black Star was lurking about and she was sending a crystal clear message- Get out.
Jahanarwa walked down a side street and was startled to have a couple people block off the exit in front of her. She turned on to find a very ticked off outlaw queen directly behind her. In fright, Jahanarwa backed away quickly, tripping over a crate, and landed hard on her back. Black Star loomed over her in cold hatred. " I don't know who or what you are or what you are doing, but I will find out and I will take care of it. Pretending to be me is the stupidest thing you have ever done and I assure you, it will be the last thing you ever do." Jahanarwa panicked, the outlaws were going to kill her?! But no, Black Star and her assistants faded into the shadows. Jahanarwa suddenly remember a rather important factor. Black Star didn't mean that the Grellon would kill her.
Black Star meant that Magrej would kill Jahanarwa.
