The day was shaping up pretty well, if she didn’t happen to think about the events that were strapped along with it. She was the heir to the throne and no doubt the King and the Queen wanted the best for her. A proper prince at her side whom would one day rule with her and yet her father’s heart was kinder, he wanted her to love who she married, and not hate them and yet the Queen was adamant, she refused to allow those who were not of royal blood to slip past to her lines, at least not willingly but what did they know? Alexa had a brain but she also had a heart. She would see this prince, she would spend the day with him and at least give her parents the satisfaction of knowing that she had tried. Her brain was elsewhere, however, wrapped around thoughts of others, other pieces of her heart that had already seemed to have drifted away and she struggled to pull them back together, to pay attention today of all days as today required her duty as the eldest princess. She however could not even remember the land that the prince had come from and she struggled to remember what his name was. Prince Kroanos, she believed is what they called him. It made her think of a frog more or less. She giggled despite herself, patiently waiting as the maid at her back plaited a few intricate braids that weaved over the rest of her honey brunette hair that would fall down her back. Dressed in the royal forest green and gold accents, she studied her slender fingers and attempted to pull her thoughts together once again, preparing the words for which she would speak at the time of the entrance of the prince.
Some time later here she stood, rather not appreciating the gold and green and yet not fighting it either, it caused her ice blue eyes to pop of which she watched along the stony courtyard with interest, her hands folded politely before herself as she scanned the streets knowing that she would know him when she saw him. No doubt a prince from a far off land coming to court the princess of Ellsinora would make a statement, and he did. When he had arrived, the call of the bugles was piercing, the parade that approached them was expansive and outgoing. The white horse that led the way was saddle with polished mahogany leather and a blonde haired young man seated within the saddle. His eyes were blue, that much she could see right off the bat but where as to her pristine blue, his were slightly darker and the smile he offered made her giggle. She lifted a hand against her stomach to quench her laughter and offered a polite smile instead. He had dimples that seated either side of his face, his teeth were straight and his smile too wide, almost comic. When his horse was stopped, his left hand was extended and he cleared his throat expectantly. As if on cue, a pair of dressed servants whisked in from either side to slide a three step box into place for the prince to swing slowly in the saddle and lower his feet, descending the steps to the ground before the servants in turn took the reins of the horse and the steps away to the side as yet another servant stepped forward to straighten his gold cape and polish his boots.
From head to toe he nearly sparkled in the sun like a sequin on the stone. The way the servants whisked around him like bees in a hive and even managed to make the servants of the Ellsinora castle nervous, now beginning to flutter about the Princess before she quickly waved them away. It was quite obvious that the Prince took care to indulge in the amenities of being a Prince and having others around to serve him. On his feet he wore stained white, leather boots, polished to the letter and leading into the gold tight pants that he wore upon his legs which in turn led to the white cotton shirt, the gold vest and the gold cape that finished the set. At the very top of his frame sat none other than a hat, a cap of sorts with a pristine white feather poking out of the right side. His right hand lifted to curl his fingers around the edge of his vest, straightening it with a flick of his fingers as he arched a brow and stepped forward, obviously sure that he was making a rather good impression as he approached the princess who in turn politely extended a hand, swallowing slightly as the Prince accepted her slender hand within his own slightly larger one. He could only manage to range above her by an inch or two at the most which seemed to further stew the situation towards awkward and the soft hand that closed around hers made her recoil. Hardly could this be called a man and the thought made her draw away. There was a reason why no Prince had ever managed to steal her heart just as this one would not as well. She straightened, carefully making her way through the simple introductions between them, the air so thick it seemed able to be cut by a knife at the moment as she gazed around herself briefly, wishing she were anywhere but here at the moment.

Allaire sat astride her new friend, the colt Comet. He was a good boy with a blazing personality, which she only knew because the gift Black Star gave her let her talk to animals mind to mind. Which the little girl loved! She loved animals, and found that they too loved her, something most people around her couldn't do because they could not look past her sickness. Most people around her did not want to get close, for they knew that she may not last long, that her weak state could one day kill her, and most people did not want to deal with that type of loss. Animals though do not care about short lives, they themselves also have a short life, so they value any life they can as they live.
Girl, this wolf here says he knows you. The colts young voice reached into her mind, calling Allaire from her own. Wolf... there was only one wolf Allaire knew, it was Ellesar, she looked down at his form a smile growing. "Ellesar, how are you today! Where is Erech?" The girl looked as the wolf padded from the brush close by to her side and looked up at her. Erech is at the Blue Boar, I was allowed to walk by myself. So I went to see what was around the castle and saw Alexa with a male I did not know. The wolf growled, it seemed that he also wanted to see Alexa and Erech together as much as she did, which just told her that the match up was for the best of all of them, and the country.
"Well then guys, lets pay Alexa a visit." The colt sprang forward, the little girl gripping his mane as her body slipped back upon his back. The young animal did not take long to race down the street to the castle, and as the guards saw her they let her pass, they knew that she was the princess's guest, and have grown accustom to seeing her come and go as she pleased.
The copper colts stride raced into the courtyard and raced to the form of the well dressed prince. At her side was Ellesar the wolf, it was a sight to see, a bare foot girl, in baggy cloths, riding bareback on a mighty copper colt with a wolf in tow, if there was ever a stranger sight. The horse pranced to a stop a few feet from the man and snorted at him. The man turned wide eyed, seemingly surprised that an urchin child could get into the main courtyard, let alone on a bridleless and bareback horse, which was followed by a full grown wolf. "Alexa!" And to top his shock was that the dirty child knew the princess and had no formality which showed that the girl knew her personally.

Alexa’s gaze traveled up and down the sight of the Prince for some moments though she did not mean to and she understood that he came from a different land and that their beliefs and traditions were different there but none the less, she still was a bit at odd ends with the man. From his glittering gold attire to the flutter of servants that constantly buzzed around him, she was almost amused. Even if there was the fact that she was not even mildly attracted to anyone, she certainly could not bring herself to be attracted to this one, not even for the royal blood in his lines or the money he could offer her future children. Money mattered little to her and she would happily marry the poorest man in Ellsinora, if she knew that it was true love and that in every other way that he could manage the man would care for her. Yet, that was not the case at the moment and nor would it be as far as she knew for the poorest man would be the beggars, the true street urchins and she had never built a relationship with any of them, no matter how much compassion she had for her people she had never managed a relationship with someone like that.
None the less here she stood with a rich man standing before her with a cheeky grin and an uninviting twitch of his brow as he flicked a suggestive arch of his brow at her and she turned her head away with a sudden cough, her hand fluttering over her mouth for a moment as she swallowed a gasp and pressed a hand against the stomach of her corset, her eyes glancing around herself wildly for a distraction but when she turned her head once again, he had crossed the distance between them and now stood just in front of her, leaning closer still as he outstretched his hands but he did not wait for her to give him her hands, he took them and pulled her forward quite suddenly as she stumbled forward with a sound of surprise, twirled in a circle before he pulled her close against himself in a wild attempt at a strange and romantic street dance but she politely excused herself from his tight hold with a wince and smoothed her hands against her dress with a quick breath, praying that this day would end soon for the romance had died when he first arrived, not that there ever was any but she would not have let it die if there had been but there was no chance now and she straightened herself with a huff, opening her mouth to offer a suggestion of something much more tolerable for the day but as she moved to speak, the clop of hooves gnashing the ground and the whisper of paws, the tiny clips of claws and the call from a young girl reached her ears.
Relief flooded her veins and her eyes sparked with interest as she swiveled to see the sight of the odd trio crossing the courtyard towards her and a grin of delight crossed her face, ”Allaire!” she called, lifting the skirts of her dress as she hurried forward towards the pair, greeting the colt with a smile as she stroked his blaze ridden nose and bent forward in turn to stroke the wolf and scratch his ears gently. She heard the sharp gasps of the foreign servants at her back at the fact that she touched the animals and that the scraggly dressed girl dared to cross the courtyard and approach her and as Alexa straightened, she lifted her hands to whisk the child from the colt’s back to hug her tightly and turn her in a gentle circle as she clung her to her chest and stroked the raven hair at her back with a grin, relishing the feel of the child within her arms she stroked her back and settled Allaire on one hip for a moment as she gazed into beautiful emerald eyes that were by now familiar, ”My beautiful girl, how good it is to see you!” she breathed, not quite realizing the mother like innuendo that she had offered and yet she meant it for Allaire meant the world to her and she loved her dearly and always would, no matter whether the child was not always around or not. It had taken her weeks but she had clarified with the Queen that if she did not let the Grellon child pass to see her as Allaire wished, then Alexa would leave the castle. Only after the fierce argument had ensued had Alexa been given what she wanted, free rein for Allaire to come and visit whenever she wished and the fact that the Queen did not fight when ever Alexa traveled to take her the medicine that helped her pain when she was ill and helped to control the episodes.
Now, as she gazed into the emerald eyes of the child, she could not help but smile, instantly relaxed by the fact Allaire was with her now, rather her most favorite person in the world at the current time, along side of her father of whom she was very close to. She stroked the child’s raven hair and smiled before she froze for a moment, realizing the large procession that watched her with wide eyes and she dared a glance through the crowd and offered a wan smile. The prince was ogling as if he could not believe his eyes and she gingerly set the child on her feet with a sigh, ”My child you have approached me at such an odd time.” she murmured and though she was relieved that Allaire had come, she realized that she did have her duties to at least pretend that she looked forward to a day with the Prince.
The Prince, however, had other ideas. He strode forward, pushing past the servants that crowded around him as he once again approached the Princess and took her hand as if they were already meant to be, missing her wince at the touch of his soft, lotion rubbed hands. It felt a bit like holding the hand of a woman of which she would never do with intentions of romance. She pulled her hand free with a small breath and he huffed, pushing Allaire to the side but quick as lightning, Alexa had snatched the girl back into her hold again and held her to her chest with a hiss, her free hand whipping out to push against his chest and with a rather sudden gust of strength from her slender and feminine body, she pushed him to the point that the Prince stumbled back a few steps, eyes wide with surprise. Alexa gave him a wicked glance and gently lowered Allaire back to Comet’s back with a faint smile to her as she pressed a hand to the colt’s shoulder gently with a small sigh, wishing them to go, to get out of the way of the strange Prince for Allaire did not deserve any trouble from this man and as she turned back to the Prince, he had once again crossed and filled the space between them with himself, his chest puffed outwards as his hands whipped out to circle Alexa’s waist and to pull her against himself once more. She flinched, feeling a sickening turn of her stomach. She turned her head from him, her honey brunette hair whipping to the wind with the force of her head snapping from his reach as she arched her back and leaned back away from him, her slender hands lowering to pry herself free from his hold as he muttered darkly in another language, not understanding nor appreciating the fact that she did not seem to want to give in to his courting affairs.
Alexa was increasingly growing frustrated, something she did not often do but the fact that he had laid a hand on Allaire, and the fact that he had his hands all over her in every sense of the word, the fact that he sickened her with his servants and his feminine hands and his haughty nature, she was growing every more anxious and overwhelmed. Quite suddenly, the pressure left her waist and she stumbled back, offering a brief cry as she fell back to the stone, her hands flying to either side to catch herself with a wince as a sharp pain lanced her right arm and she lifted her hand from the ground swiftly to cradle her wrist to her chest with a wince, closing her eyes tightly for a moment before they snapped open in surprise at the sound that she heard next, a strange and piercing cackle. Was the Prince, laughing at her? Frowning, she inclined her head into the rays of the sun to glance at the peacock of a man and sure enough, his head was tilted back, his hands clenched in fists on either hip as he laughed at the sight of her. Skirts fluttered everywhere around her, and her legs were crumpled beneath her frame, and he thought it was funny. She felt a slight pang of shame to be seen like this and she felt a sharp sting of anger, how dare he? He thought that it was funny to treat women this way? She felt her cheeks grow hot and her left hand lifted to test her wrist tenderly, a frown now staining her features as she rather let her stiffened temper bloat as she rather purposefully sat on the ground now, waiting to get up for her wrist ached and her legs were sore from the strange fold from falling and she was frustrated and humiliated with this man, why should she get up?

Post by Erech on Jun 2, 2011 19:30:12 GMT -4
The day was still early and the Blue Boar Inn was rammed with customers as usual. Van, the abnormally large Innkeeper, and good friend of Erech's served him with a unique liquor. Purple in color, the liquor wasn't a favorite of many, but it appealed to Erech enough that it was the only drink he would even taste. Seated within what is usually known as the 'Outlaw Corner' Erech spoke with a few of his fellow allies of Ellsinora. Telling them tales of that night with Black Star, the tales of how he took out the three guards with only 3 strikes and a vicious companion. He was trusting of Ellesar but disliked it when he left his side. Unknowingly to Erech, Ellesar had done such a thing. He had wandered off, Erech had caught a sight of the wolf moving around beneath him. However, after a good amount of time passed, Erech leaned down to find none other than an average street dog, curled up and laying upon Erech's feet. Leaning down, he gently pushed the canine from his feet and moved away, trying not to disturb the sleeping dog. He downed the rest of his purple liquor and shot out the door. He frowed as the cloak hood fell over his face. Finding Ellesar would be difficult, unless he was with one of the two people he had taken a liking to. Allaire and Alexa. Erech figured Allaire was a more likely option for Ellesar to seek out, so off he set. Erech darted around the town center, the alleyways, everywhere. His cloak must have been an average sight of the market stalls as he quickly darted back and forth past the stalls. In heavy pursuit of his wolf companion, he had only one more trick up his sleeve. Raising his fingers to his mouth in an arced position. He blew loudly thru them, hard enough to create such a high pitch whistle that humans were unable to hear the sound. Only the canine species had enhanced enough hearing to hear such a whistle.
Erech's plan had worked, perched upon the well that was situated in the center of the cobbled town, he heard the recognisable howl of Ellesar. It was coming from the courtyard of the castle. An unusual place for a wolf, unless. Alexa. That was it, Ellesar was with Alexa. Maybe Allaire was there too. Erech darted off, his cape flowing gracefully behind him. His piercing light blue eyes, sought after the courtyard. He knew many of the guards and they knew he was no threat of the castle. Allowing him to pass freely, everything and everyone came into sight. Erech saw Ellesar, Allaire upon her trusty steed and Alexa sat upon the floor. Rushing over, Erech stopped with his cloak flowing gracefully in the wind. He looked up to Allaire with a smile. He reached down to Ellesar, patting his head and then looked to Alexa. But, who was this fancy man who stood before him. Some kind of foreign prince? Erech didn't much care for him, but he quickly rushed past the man, swiflty manipulating his body to avoid a collision with the gold studded prince. He stopped, positioned between the princess and the prince he offered his hand to Alexa. If she was to take it, he would pull her to her feet. No Princess should be seated upon the floor. The prince was laughing but he soon stopped as Erech coughed loudly, his masculine voice asked of Alexa's wellbeing.
"Are you okay miss Alexa?"

Allaire Smiled as Alexa moved from the too brightly dressed prince. She didn't like his look, he seemed to have been dipped in gold, and not dressed in clothes, which made her hate him more. There were people around that could use the gold, but yet he was wearing it. But she hid it all as Alexa took her from Comet's back and twirled her about. Once the princess had settled her upon her waist Allaire looked her in the eyes. "I came to play, but I see you have a 'guest'." The girl looked over at the prince and gave him a smile that could only tell him that she was plotting something, and he was to be the butt of it.
Which could be why he rushed on them when Alexa set Allaire back on her feet. He pushed her aside almost knocking the small child over, but soon was back in the arms of Alexa. With a small huff Allaire looked to the over dressed prince and glared at him, now thinking of a good way to pay him back, now it was war. When she had been gently placed upon Comet she nudged him forward, knowing full well that the prince and all his attendants were now more focused on the small thing that was going on between the prince and the princess. The incident angered the small girl more, how dare he force her Alexa to do anything!
When Alexa fell to the ground it was the last straw, the girl had nudged Comet behind the prince, without his knowing. The girl dug into the front of her shirt and retrieved the last of her breakfast that she was saving. With the food in hand she watched as the prince's shoulders were moving up and down at Alexa's experience, the girl growled under her breath, but that soon stopped as she heard Ellesar howl and Erech's running form, yes, this was going to work out great. Ellesar! when this food hits his head tackle him, then run.
The wolf nodded to her, knowing full well that the girl meant business now. The girl pulled her hand back and let the food fly, when it hit his head he ceased his annoying laughing and turned with a snarl, he was about to move to the girl, his fist in the air, ready to stick her when Ellesar rammed into him knocking the evil prince over. With that the horse moved forward, his hoofs inches from the princes ugly face. "Touch Alexa again, no, go near Alexa again, and your attendants will have to take home your pieces." The was fire in her eyes, a fire that seemed to come form no where, for the first time since her mothers death, little Allaire felt anger well up in her, and felt like the Outlaw she was.
The prince swung around his eyes big, if he did not understand her words then he would know the tone of her voice, which was dark. He muttered some foreign words at her, which caused a few of there attendants to pull in a wild breath and cover their mouths, and even some whisper between themselves. The girl urged the horse forward, his hoofs clattering on the stone, Ellesar came beside her, his muzzle pulled into an angry snarl. The prince then talked to her. "Call your hell hound back, witch!"

Alexa’s gaze lifted as the ranger came to her view, her eyes shielded from the sun now as Erech’s form showed before her and she held her breath for a moment, surprise lighting her features and for a moment, the wicked prince was shielded from her view. She couldn’t help the small smile that touched her features despite herself and as she outstretched her own hand to slide it within his own, she rather thought seriously about not letting go but instead she accepted the help and stood from the ground before reluctantly pulling her hand from his and brushing the dirt from her skirts, she cast a glance to the prince and tucked the hair out of her face with a heated glance at the foreign man. It seemed as if things rather suddenly shifted, the explosion to begin as Allaire’s colt edged in behind the prince and she gazed upon the child, worry filling her heart briefly before it dissipated once again, Allaire had it covered and within moments, a flash of fur and the wolf had the Prince to the ground. She felt her mind grow dizzy for a moment at the activity that flooded the scene and she backed a few steps and darted off to the side, calling for guards swiftly who flooded the entrance of the castle, all too surprised at the happenings outside.
A young girl and a horse, a ranger and a wolf and one hell of a pissed off Prince. The gold studded Prince was pink in the face and furious. Beads of sweat spotted the man’s brow and whether that was from the heat, or from the fact that he was actually rather nervous, she couldn’t tell. None the less, she stepped forward, her gaze swiveling to Allaire briefly but she worried only a little. That colt worked with her like a well oiled machine and the fire in the child’s eyes would have alarmed her had she been on the receiving end of the girl’s rage. She scanned for Ellesar and once spotting the wolf, she breathed a sigh of relief despite the frightening state that the beast remained in, teeth bared and a snarl ripping past his throat. Her hands trembled and her wrist ached but silence enveloped her for she felt it to her core that this scene would not end well and with a flick of her fingers the Prince’s servants scattered and the procession broke apart as the Prince, flustered and furious was backing in circles eyeing both the guards, and the ranger. Being arrested on foreign turf was not something that he intended to happen but as Alexa darted past to reach the side of the ranger and the child, his hand whipped out to catch her wrist and as she whirled, her skirts flying as she whirled about, her left hand flying instinctively until her slight nails raked his cheek, angry red marks and broken skin left behind and within a moment, she had been freed and backed past the ranger and the wolf, her breath catching at his insult to the child and the wolf, her ice colored eyes blazing now as she stared upon the sight of the Prince, infuriated. She wondered what the hell her parents had been thinking in sending such a man as this to court her? He was poison on earth.

The gaze of such a beauty before him, why would such a pretty woman, be situated upon the floor. Erech was too late for that part of the action. However, lifting the princess to her feet, his body quickly turned to face the Prince as Allaire unleashed somewhat of an attack. Her horse, a new sight to Erech had moved forwards and the Prince was upon the floor with Ellesar snarling just as he was with those Murate Guards a few days previous in Black Stars presence. Erech glared at the Prince, his light blue eyes gave an intimidating stare. Allaire seemed to have a ton of power when armed with her beloved animals. Erech was proud of Ellesar for protecting Allaire, but he still wasn't very happy about him simply wandering off.
Erech stood, his eyes filling with rage as the Prince made a comment towards his beloved Ellesar. Who the hell was this man and who the hell did he think he was? Erech's face scrunched with anger as the princess stepped forward and slapped the Prince. A nasty connnection of skin and nails occured but Erech's eyes still remained concentrated on this golden prince. After the slap occured, the Prince stepped towards Alexa, something he should not have done in the presence of Erech. The step showed retaliation and Erech acted out for Alexa's and Ellesar's sakes. Whipping his bow from his back, he arced his arm back in a flash. Loading his bow with an arrow, he pulled back and aimed at the prince. The tip of the arrow mere inches away from the middle of the princes eyes. He had pissed Erech off, something that rarely happens.
"You are no man. Step back, or my arrow WILL pierce your head."
Erech's voice was calm but his eyes showed his true anger and hatred from this man. Ellesar's snarl remained on his face and Allaire too was protecting Alexa and standing up for herself. This man no longer had place here.

The prince eyed the ranger, ogling at the other end of the arrow as he looked along the length of the shaft to the face of the ranger at the other end and for a moment, he rather considered arguing with the man but as he met eyes with the ranger at the other end, he flustered and his hands fluttered into the air, his face growing rather red and sweat beaded his brow. The sight made the Princess cringe, not because she felt sorry for him but because she knew that she could never see herself with this man for any reason. She stood just behind Erech, her wrist encircled by the slender fingers of her opposite hand as she watched the scene, holding her breath at the sight of the arrow aimed just between the eyes of the Prince. She hoped it would not come to that but she certainly would not put it past the ranger to follow up on his threat. Now, she simply watched the foreigner, curious whether he would bother to push Erech any further, her eyes glancing towards Ellesar and Allaire before lifting once again.
The Prince however, struggled to find a reply to the ranger’s words, his eyes glancing to either side of himself but his entourage even seemed to struggled with something to do to recover from such a rather disgraceful scene, many of them standing with their mouths wide open as they stared in shock and some in fear at the sight before themselves. The prince, eager to find a quick recovery to his lack of stature, glanced back to the ranger again, reaching out a shaking hand to press a finger to the top of the tip of the arrow, swallowing nervously as he moved to push it downward so that at least it would not be pointed at his face any longer as he chuckled nervously and glanced back to meet Erech’s eyes once more, holding his hands upwards in a rather submissive gesture, “Look, look, partner. There is no need for such violence. I do believe however that it is you that has no business here, you have me confused for I am here for zee Princess and nothing more.” He replied with a sickly sweet smile as he cast a glance behind to Alexa who turned her head away which caused him to frown but he did not dare approach her again just yet, well aware of the ranger that was placed between them now as he rather carefully took a step away from Erech for his own safety, “Now, I find it strange zat zis Princess will not ask you to leave but I will not hesitate to ask you to leave zee courtyard of zis castle, sir.” He stated, working to keep his tone somewhat polite and yet commanding as he sent a brief glance to the ranger once again with a curt nod, his right hand extending to flick, motioning for the ranger to take his leave.

Erech watched the man flail as the arrowhead was placed before his eyes. He watched the Prince with his intimidating stare, refusing to take his eyes off the man for a split second. He wasn't dangerous or a potential threat in any way to Erech. Hell, the Ranger could have his head right now. However, as the man stumbled back, scared. Erech looked back to Alexa whos worrying face, somewhat calmed Erech. The Prince then made a bold movement, shakily however he pushed down Erech's arrow. The Ranger followed the movement, retreating his bow and removing the arrow, he reached back placing it back into his quiver. He strung teh bow over his head to rest on his shoulder as the prince began to speak. Erech simply stared at the man, his piercing blue eyes and rough, dark hair gave a scary look when Erech wasn't in the mood. He quickly replied to the Prince's nonsense.
"My business is the protection of Alexa, physically and mentally. You call yourself a Prince, yet you act like a Drunken Peasant. The beggers of Ellsinora have more of my respect than you. I shall not move away from this courtyard unless Princess Alexa orders me to. I do not follow the command of you." Erech spoke out, his eyes still fixated on the Prince. Erech stood his ground to the Prince's gesture, his eyes burning with a bright, blue flame. This man was no Prince, he was scum and Erech didn't like the fact that Alexa must spend the day with him.

Allaire fumed. She could not believe this man, he dared lay his hands on Alexa again, he dared to talk back to Erech! This was it, this was the last thing that man would ever do.
The girl urged the horse into a Gallop right passed Erech and Alexa, the Colt bolted his hoofs chattering on the stone. The girl pulled her wooden blade, and held it tightly in her hand. When the horse was only inches font him, Comet reared, his hoofs reaching out to him. Any fool would take the hint, they would realize that the girl and horse meant business, that if they did not move there would be bodily harm.
The girls eyes where fire, a green blaze. Her face was in a angry frown, she was an OutLaw and so be it she would let any Rich boy touch anyone she cared about. "This is your last warning! If you do not leave now, you will have to deal with me and my people!" The browns colt clattered back onto his feet, prancing about, his head waving irritated, feeding off of his owners energy. This colt is not going to listen to you little one. you should just let me chase him away.
Not yet. The girl brought up her blade, looking the man in the eye, her sword inches from his face. "And trust me, you do not want my people on your tail."
The girl hoped that this man had the since to realize that he had lost, that his chance at this county throne was now lost. That he was never going to have Alexa's hand, no matter what he did. It was a lost cause, she would not have it! Her eyes watched him, Comet was ready for anything and so was Ellesar, who had been at the horses hoofs this whole time.

The Prince grew flustered, irritated. His hands lifted in a brief surrender as he gazed upon the child and the chestnut colt for the girl seemed beyond her years at least a bit. She was wild and flaring and threatening and as the ranger refused the Prince’s word, he sighed, his face set in hard lines of frustration. He had no power here upon the land that did not belong to him or his family and without the marriage to the eldest Princess, he never would. It was obvious that this would not be happening and the thought made him frown. He grit his teeth and shifted his weight over his feet, his eyes glancing between Allaire and Erech for a moment before he finally huffed and lifted his chin sharply, prominently. Though he would leave without a wife, he refused to leave without his dignity. He huffed, sharply, and strutted forward, circling the group for a moment before he paused with a curt nod, glancing for the Princess who had at this point disappeared and he frowned, “This land is not work my time. You sick peasants have overrun the castle quite obviously and I shall return to a land where royals truly do rule.” He muttered, hissing at Erech with a dark look in his eyes. He flicked a hand at Allaire as if waving her off as his left hand lifted, his fingers snapping impatiently for a servant to retrieve his horse but from a few feet away the white beast was led forward by none other then Alexa herself.
The princess was all too eager to get the studded prince on his horse and on his way and though she would not spend the day with him and nor would she marry him, she would at least be polite. She ignored a wince as the gelding tossed his head, tugging at her sore wrist but she ignored it, sighing as she stroked the equine’s nose and smiled patiently, turning to the Prince as she dropped the reins into his hands and motioned to the saddle, ”Prince Kroanos, on your way.” she stated with a curt nod as she stepped back slightly, motioning for his servants to leave him be as he turned an expectant look to the nervous women and he flared at her, seething that she dared stop his servants from delivering his stepping stool into the saddle and helping him onto the beast, ”You are in my court and so long as you are you will act like a member of Ellsinora, a land where men do not need a stepping ladder to climb upon a horse.” she stated, her tone gentle and yet commanding at the same time. She was beautiful and she was polite but she would see to it that this Prince left her court with a shred’s view of a man and not the child that he had arrived as.
The prince however seemed to have other ideas as he circled the gelding as if searching for a way into the saddle. Alexa swallowed a small bit of laughter at the site and only managed to let loose a tiny smile at the sight as the man finally gathered the reins and jammed his foot into the stirrup before promptly leaping towards the horses’ side awkwardly. As he did so, his hand jerked the reins rather suddenly and his foot popped out of the stirrup and the gelding promptly spooked, rearing into the air wildly and dragging the Prince with him until Kroanos lost grip on the reins and fell straight to the ground on his rear. Now, his face was shifting from red to scarlet, furious and humiliated he climbed to his feet once more with a huff. For quite a few solid minutes to man struggled to gather himself into the saddle and an array of shows erupted from hanging across the horses back to being dragged a few feet while the spooked gelding struggled to understand what the man wanted out of him but finally, after what seemed like hours, the Prince sat backwards in the saddle, his brow furrowed in confusion and his eyes glaring across the rear end of the horse as he glanced around in confusion and even a few of his servants could not help but to erupt in laughter at the sight and soon, the entire courtyard seemed to be laughing from the reverie of the Prince himself to the guards of Ellsinora and yet the only person who did not solely give into laughter, was Alexa. Though she giggled and carefully held her palms against her stomach as if trying to hold her frame together, she grinned and her bright blue eyes twinkled furiously with amusement as she motioned for the Prince to rotate himself.
The prince was raging and thoroughly ready to leave the court but he did not dare to tell any to shut their mouths as he carefully began to circle himself in the saddle, freezing at a rather large ripping sound that erupted from his own rear end and with flaming cheeks, the prince swiftly reined his gelding around and made his way from the courtyard in a huff, his chin lifted rather high into the air as he refrained from looking upon anyone within the courtyard as his procession proceeded to follow him from the courtyard of Ellsinora.

Erech watched on as the Prince was threatened even more by Allaire. She sure was a tough little girl. She had morals and stood up for those she cared about. Erech saw his own personality within the young girls eyes. He watched the Pince carefully, if he was to raise a hand to Allaire again, Erech would of had to reassume his position with his bow pulled back and an arrowtip resting on the Prince's nose, only this time, if he had touched her again, Erech would of released the arrow upon it's path through his head. He didn;t care for the royalty of foreign lands. Ellsinora was a land of pride, honour and protection. No place for a Prince to act like a prancing girl.
Erech watched as Alexa delivered him his horse, the situation was now under control and the Prince was about to leave. However, as Alexa spoke out, she had one last request. The Prince was to leave upon his horse, without any assitance. Erech didn't even smile as the man failed, multiple times. He simply sighed and watched the Prince struggle. "Pathetic." Erech grunted as the man finally managed to seat himself upon the horses back. The sound fo tearing cloth echoed as the courtyard and the crowds that formed calmed into silence and then burst into laughter. Erech just shook his head, but even he couldn't help but smile at the Prince's unfortunate events at the Ellsinora courtyard.
Erech turned to Allaire first, he reached down, running his finger sthrough Ellesar's fur, he then stood up and stroked the nose of Allaire's new horse. Erech smiled as he stroked the horses ears. "So, who's this great steed Allaire? He's a new addition." Erech added with a soft smile and a brief chuckle. "You showed great courage and pride then Allaire. I'm proud of you." Erech's smile began to increase and spread across his face further. He was proud of the young girl, in his eyes she was like a younger sister to him.
Erech then turned to Alexa. He smiled and gave a curt nod, he knew he was somewhat out of place in the castle grounds but he did not care while he was in the presence of Alexa and Allaire. He turned to Alexa, smiling. "That was quite the scene, are you okay?" Erech asked, he only had Alexa's wellbeing in mind. He wanted to do right not for himself, not just for Alexa, but for Ellsinora.

Alexa’s eyes gazed after the Prince as he and his entourage disappeared down the cobbled street and she breathed a sigh of relief. Her day would not be tied with that unmanly and yet demanding Prince and for that, she was thankful and as she gazed down the street, her hands lifted to tuck her hair away from her face, closing her eyes slowly for a moment as she regained herself and her fingers carefully tested her left wrist which had been sore when she had fallen from the Prince’s grasp but the pain was ebbing away, and she was satisfied and at once her eyes opened once again as she glanced around the courtyard. As her gaze lowered to Erech and Allaire and she smiled softly, tilting her head as she watched the pair with a curious gleam to her eye before she stepped forward slowly as she drifted closer to her saving graces, the smile still stuck upon her face at Erech’s words and her eyes lifted to his facial features for a moment as she gazed upon the handsome face of the ranger, her breath catching in her throat for a moment as she looked upwards to him before she quickly took a steadying breath and turned her gaze to Allaire with a smile as she nodded slowly in return as she stroked Comet’s nose with a smile and she spoke once again, ”Allaire, that was such a brave thing that you did sweetheart. Thank you. For you have truly saved me from a miserable day.” she murmured with a nod as she gently patted the colt’s neck and sighed softly.
At this point, she had relaxed once again and her gaze traveled around the courtyard for a moment before she returned her gaze back to Erech and Allaire once again with a gentle smile to the two as she turned to Erech now with a small nod, her fingers still brushing the blaze embellished nose of the horse as she met Erech’s blue gaze this time at his words, her head tilting into a light nod in return, ”Yes, thank you. I am fine and I also owe you thanks for coming to my rescue.” she replied gently to him in reply, opening her mouth briefly to speak before she closed it again as an afterthought and laughed softly, ”I would be happy to offer you coin or gems as a prize but something tells me that you would refuse them, again. Never the less, is there anything at all that I can offer you? Something that you desire that I could possibly give as thanks for your actions good sir?” she inquired softly to the man, her ice blue eyes glittering lightly with an inquiring gleam as she looked up at him thoughtfully once more.
