Declan pounded on the horseshoe with the hammer. Clang, flip, clang, flip. Over and over and over again. This was the type of thing that irritated him.Clang, flip, clang, flip. The man kept muttering nonsense to himself, just to calm himself down. He tossed the finished horseshoe into the bag and picked up around four sacks of materials he had to deliver. Horseshoes and weapons, those are the usual orders. He worked as a blacksmith in his own shop, and was probably the best in Kiyer. He'd built this shop from the ground up, and perfected anything to do with it. His emerald green eyes searched the small shop again and he loaded up his saddle bags. He didn't mind deliveries. It gave him something to do. He stepped out the door and packed up his large black Friesian named Keegan. He was a good horse. Declan patted his side and mounted up. The rain was beginning to pick up, he had to make these deliveries fast.
His mind changed when he saw how much the wind had grown. Trees were bending over backwards, almost. People were in a state of frenzy. He quickly unpacked Keegan and untacked him. "Looks like those deliveries are just going to have to wait." He said, shivering slightly in the chill wind. He lead the proud horse into the shop, or otherwise, his house. It was more of a mix. He had a stall outside for Keegan, but in this weather he deserved to come inside. He also had a small room for himself, with a simple cot and a dresser. It wasn't incredible, but it was livable. He put the massive horse in his room and turned back just as he noticed the door. The window what shattered. He swore loudly and cursed several times. "There's another thing, just another thing that I have to pay for, just perfect." He took some random board and nailed it to the window, blocking out the rain. Declan groaned and put out the fire he used for weilding, then cursed a few more times, kicking over his work bench and stared around the shop accusingly. Just perfect.
