The time is late afternoon. The sun is beginning to set once again and the night life beginning to grow. Through out the main cobblestones of town, children dart and race, playing about as they await the escort of their parents to the festival. Streamers billow outwards from the tips of their fingers, their giggles and laughter filling the air. Girls in frilly skirts and dresses, boys in pressed trousers and cotton shirts. As adults filed out into the stony walkway, each dressed at their best, smiles painted across their features. They eagerly turned their gazes towards the castle, the soft glow of the lights inside representing the Princesses that were preparing for the festival as well.
The sky was painted in the soft hues of pinks, purples, and oranges as the sun sank. Lining the streets however were hand crafted lanterns in the royal colors with small candles burning within, a colorful walk way that led each to their destination among the town square and the trees. Lining the town square were tents, people selling foods and treats, baubles and items that glittered and enticed greedy fingers to list, the jingle of coins before the items were carried off. Women carried bags, gathering items that they bought with hard earned money of the season lining their money pouches. Grins were flanking their cheeks as they gazed at and showed off their new wares to friends. Teaming with life and vibrant the town was alive and stirring, one of the only nights of the year where instead of drunks noisy and milling about the tavern and inn, were the people of Ellsinora would wander out into the night to enjoy themselves as well.
Tinkering out from among the trees was the lull of music playing, clapping hands, and soft calls. For there, just off to the side of town square was adorned the dance, the song. Men clattered glasses and arm wrestle while daring each other to other games and others still taking the hands of beautiful woman to lead them out to the dance floor or swoon and entice them away into the forest for a far more sweeter form of dance, no doubt. Brilliant colored skirts swirled and swayed about the dance floor, bolder women flashing about and dancing, showing off to others as they giggled and danced together, dragging sisters, mothers, friends out onto the floor. Bare feet whisked above the grass while others showed off shoes that they had paid far too much for, simply for show.
While nervous teenagers milled about, shyly conversing together and skirting their parents, a few couples could be seen whispering together, heads bent together as they sat at tables that lined the clearing. Just through the trees you could still hear the call of the sellers, those whom were working to sell their wares while a paunchy man with a box of ale strapped to his chest walked the dance area offering mugs of frothy, mind swooning liquids and drinks, accepting jingling coins from men in return for the mugs as he traveled about while others lingered about, women especially who pretended not to be hungry. The linger of the people was brilliant, golden arched chairs lined the head of the valley, five to be exact no doubt for the royal party for when they arrived. Two raising two inches higher for the King and Queen themselves and to the left of the King, his most prized daughter the Princess Alexa, the future Queen up for show for those to see as if put on a pedestal like the tiara upon her head. A bauble simply to stare at. Two chairs set out to the right of the Queen for her younger daughters, heirs and yet not without Alexa in the way.
Though they awaited sign of the royal party, the party still lingered on, started and teaming with life already with people nearly as far as the eye can see, a few more shady characters lingering about, sharp shouts from flustered woman and the obnoxious cries of men. The laugher of children and the flare of spring colors. The Spring Festival was indeed in full swing. [/b][/color]

OOC- This is not a thread where you have to post in order. As this is a mass thread, post whenever your char is needed or wanted. The entire Grellon was here in some way or another. Taverns, Inns, the streets, if there were groups of people, Grellon members were not far behind. Many of them were being outlaws and stealing anything the shined. Black Star and her people may not be horrible creatures, but they did earn the title outlaw. But, not everything was stolen. Certain souls in the fair the bought and sold things would slip things to a Grellon bandit. These people were some of the many that Black Star had helped in time past and who decided to pay their debts in full. Even the children were running about, carefully watched by the adults of the band. When dusk fell, that was the signal for the thieving to stop and the fun to begin. After disposing their loot into the Blue Boar Inn the outlaws went out to have some real fun. Black Star had ordered everyone to dress simply and blend in. For the first time in a very long while, she was not wearing a hood and covering her features. Still, she refused to wear the typical garb of a townswoman. Instead she had a scarlet skirt, which was very full and flowing to her mid-calf, a white short sleeved shirt that was off her shoulders, a belts made up of metal discs draped over her hips, and various pieces of jewelry finished her outfit. The raven black hair was tied back in gypsy fashion and the gypsy disguise was complete. Though she was pretty relaxed, even keeping her dagger in plain sight, her followers kept a careful eye on their leader. They all dressed like country folk, no hoods or cloaks, or even weapons. At least not weapons not concealed anyway. But, Black Star was known to the royal family and there was always the chance that Abbie would start something. Or that Black Star would start something, they didn't know. A couple of the Grellon members remained within earshot and kept close eye on their impulsive young leader. Black Star was intelligent but apt to let her mouth run away with her head. But the outlaw leader was for once acting as a young woman should, looking at pretty things and currently she was enjoying a dance. Though she didn't ever seem to flirt, which did keep her a bit apart from the crowd, she was enjoying herself. Finally though, the Grellon's fears came to pass. She did something impulsive, yet for once it was not going to kill anyone. Black Star gave that commanding sharp whistle which gathered the Grellon and quite a few of the townsfolk. " Musicians! Let's see what you can do!" The musicians accepted the challenge, spurred by the generous woman's contribution to their begging bag in front of them. This started a wild and energetic dance. Black Star also made a point of starting right where the royal family would be sure to see it when they came. She dared Abbie or even the queen to try anything here tonight. By dawn, the Grellon would be safely back in heir nest and impossible to find, so let the taunting begin. Spring was here, making everyone grateful for the snow's melting and now the wild hearts controlled willing bodies to enjoy the festival to the fullest.

Allaire weaved in and out of the people in the crowd, as a kid, she could easily brush someone and still not get noted, so the Grellon use that to there advantage. This was the only mission children are allowed to do, and the little girl always became existed when festivals came about.
She ran about giggling, acting like any other street urchin, her hands in the air, waving anything of color. But that was one of the fronts she had, she was in reality sneaking behind the well dressed, slipping her hand within there side purses and pulling out a hand full of gold and then slipping her hand in the front of her shirt and dumping the gold in a small bag that was hidden within the folds of baggy cloths.
Allaire had worked up quite and bundle, she was racing about, a pinwheel in her hand, she was just about to head to the Blue Boar to give the inn keep her loot, so that she could go back out without having to take care that her cloths are jingling with gold, something street urchins just don't have happen to them unless they are thieves.
Something, no someone caught her arm, pulling her to the side out of the crowd, this was not good. No one of the Grellon handled her this way, they all knew just how sick she was, so always took care in how they treated her. But this person, this person Pulled on her harder as she kicked and punched, trying to get herself free of the mans rock hard grip. Her pinwheel hit the ground as her bear feet puffed up dirt.
The well dressed couple that she had just pickpocket seemed horrified as they checked there purse. Then quickly drew angry, shouting curses and punishments at her, she fought harder, her body becoming more and more weak.
She wondered where the other OutLaws where, they where suppose to be watching her, keeping her safe from situations like this one. The adults where suppose to be everywhere on this god forsaken festival, and she just happens to get caught where there was none in sight, or close by to come to her rescue.

The moon had awoke as the sun began its sleep. The town would usually be smothered in drunken brawls as the men were thrown from the taverns, but not tonight. Tonight marked the beginning of spring, the ice cold winter had passed he world came into bloom. Even Murate would be somewhat more colourful. The festival had been going on for hours now, the bellow of voices as the town sung their hearts out. The smell of burning candles as the cobble pathways were brightened by the unique lanterns. Tonight was a night of celebration and fun. Something everyone within the town would experience tonight.
Erech had sat inside the Blue Boar Inn for around an hour now, finishing off his drink. He wasn't dressed up for the occasion but did leave his cloak out of his attire. Ellesar, his trusty wolf companion sat at his feet as he sat upon the stool at the bar. Hoping off it and letting out a quick whistle, Ellesar jumped up and followed Erech out the inn. As he took his steps outside, the festival had sparked into even more of a celebration. The party was filled with laughter and screams of enjoyment. However, as Erech began his walk out, he saw a tall dark haired man. The man had a hold of a young girl. Erech disliked the look in the mans eyes, and strolled over.
Ellesar's eyes glared at the man and the struggling girl. While Erech stood watching the man as he eyes shifted from the adult, back to the child, and then back again to the large male. "Let the young lass be, tonight is not the night for such behavior" Erech spoke out to the man who then argued his case for why he had grasped the girl. She was young and fragile, ignoring every word the man had to say, Erech's arm moved quickly, clutching that of the mans forearm. His eyes opened wide, his icy blue eyes gave a glare of intimidation. "I said, let the girl go." The mans grip soon released and Erech gave a smile, he moved his hand to the mans shoulder and saw him off away from the girl.
He then turned to see the girl, grasping her shoulder. He leaned down and whispered to her ear, the noise had begun to increase a little and speaking normally wouldn't be heard. "Your a lucky little girl, I got here just in time." Erech smiled at the young girl, she was in Ellsinora land and Erech's duty was to protect all those within Ellsinora's walls.

Black Star left the circle of dancers and though grinning from ear to ear from watching her happy little tribe, she panted from throwing so much enthusiasm into her movements. Outlaws were allowed to have fun too. She quickly did a head count of the various children rushing about, and came one short. Her heart dropped as she realized that Allaire was missing. Black Star prayed that the child had not had another attack, she was still weakened greatly by the last attack.
Black Star turned on her heels and started looking for Allaire, her little pet. She did not take any of the Grellon members away from the circle but a couple loners joined behind their leader. The two men and an elderly woman as well as the outlaw queen started searching the festival for Allaire. Black Star wasn't the tallest person in the world, but one of the fellow with her was a good six and a half feet tall so he followed Black Star while the others darted away separately. After awhile with no luck, the outlaws headed toward the Blue Boar Tavern. The leader though that perhaps Allaire was simply resting in the outlaw's safe haven.
But it was not so, for as soon as they got near the tavern they saw a scene where Allaire had been caught. Black Star's eyes instantly flashed with anger and she laid a hand on her dagger, ready and willing to fight to the death for Allaire. Her fellow outlaw grabbed her wrist and pointed silently to Erech. Black Star remained with hand on dagger but she did not move to the scene.
After Erech dealt with the issue Black Star removed her hand from her sharp glittering weapon but remained ready for anything. True, Allaire should have known better then to get caught and true, thieving was not the best occupation, but that didn't matter to Black Star. What mattered was that if Allaire got hurt, thee would be some very serious damage. The outlaw muttered to her compatriot, " The man that attacked Allaire, if he ever comes through the mountains, we hold him for a high ransom. If he tries anything else, I may be adding murderer to my list of names." The tall silent fellow nodded and both outlaws moved to one side.
Black Star watched Erech like a hawk, but she let Allaire deal with it. Allaire could handle herself, she was Grellon after all. If something needed to happen, Allaire would find Black Star right there, only yards away and really not hidden at all. Though the outlaw queen was letting Allaire handle things, Back Star still remained in plain sight, leaning against a wall and every so often saying something to the tall fellow next to her. After a few moments though, Black Star sent the fellow with her to tell others that Allaire had been located. Now she talked with a merchant and kept a sharp eye on the child. There was no need to leave until the royal family came for then Black Star would probably go to taunt Abigail or the Queen. It was Black Star's charming style of revenge, doing it in plain sight.

Suko had come to the festival with the other Grellons, but, unlike them, she wasn't comfertable in crowds so she stayed in the trees. watching the dance floor and Black Star. Her cloths where so well blended that only the Grellons that saw where she perched upon ariving would be able to find her. Suko had her leather bag ithe her and her fathers momento, but had left her sword hidden in the trees as it was big and she didn't whant to attract attention. She had brought a few things with her in a bag that she had made from the bounty of the forest. All properly taken with little harm and proper respect from what it was bieng taken from. She followed the laws in the mountain and what she kills and makes comes from away from it. She had brought these things with the intention of selling them to help the band, but after seeing the crowd and noise was mulling over giving them to Black Star to sell for her as Suko was out of her element. She had never told Black Star what she could make before and now seemed to be a good time as she had taken Suko in like family.
As Suko scanned for Black Star making up her mind to tell her the skills she has, she noticed that Black Star wasn't dancing anymore. Staying in the woods, she searched the whole party for the missing leader, finaly locating her talking to a stranger and leaning against a wall. Since she didn't look like she was moving anytime soon, Suko came down from the trees and blended with the crowed makeing her way over to the leader. Knowing some maners she waited a little away showing she wished to speak but giving room to finish her conversation.

Dancing.
It had changed so much as the years had gone by, and Larentia did not know whether to embrace of reject the change. It wasn’t as if dancing was awful now; the rituals had simply lost their meaning. So many young children danced to traditional songs in the street, without knowing why these songs were and what the dances meant. Each and every step was a code, a message…open to the ears of any willing to listen. The old woman sighed as she moved along through the streets. The festival was marvelous, as usual, but she could not bring herself to smile at the moment. There was nothing to smile for, after all.
She wondered her people could stand to celebrate with Magrej looming over their heads, a constant threat. Larienta was wise enough to see why celebration was helpful, but there was a time where people had to suck it up and get things done before partying. Not only that, but Larienta wasn’t looking forward to the drunks that would wander into her bake shop, searching for coffee. Why did the drunks always think that the baker sold coffee? Why did no one wander into the inn? Simple: alcohol destroys brain cells, rendering people dumb as fuck.
It was why Larienta never drank.
The old woman paused, leaning on her cane, watching the struggle of two men and a child. She did not intervene, for the child did not seem to be physically armed, and one of the men had it under control. A small smile did slip onto her dark, weathered face as the situation was resolved without bloodshed. The old women, in her simple white dress, continued to watch the two long after those that had gathered to watch the brief struggle had gone. Some may have been unnerved by a woman staring at them, but Larienta did not pose an immediate threat.
Not to say that she wasn’t a threat.
Larienta smiled vaguely down at her cane. Her father had once been a skilled blacksmith, and from him she had learned some tricks. Her cane was enough of a weapon to keep her safe, for a short period of time.

Allaire was tired now, so very tired, just as she was about to give in, to let the man take her, but a another man came in, stopping her captor and getting him to relics her, but with a price. The small girl had to hand over all her work, Well some of it. She was not dumb, she always kept four different bags of gold within her shirt, and whichever was smaller she gave up, it was a common trick with young pickpockets, and the authority never caught on.
She dug a back out of her shirt and gauntly gave it to the man, then he walked away, the well dressed couple shouting insults at him and at her, but what was new, the rich was always shouting at the poor, it was never anything else. But soon, even the rich couple moved on, knowing that what was done was done, and no shouting from them would change it.
Allaire huffed, crossing her arms, she had to give away a hours work, something the little girl did not like, she took her job seriously, what ever little she brought in helped her family that much more. But she soon took the idea of the rich, what was done was done, she was just lucky to get away without getting arrested.
Now that she thought of it, she had been saved, she turned, her raven hair covering her face. As she looked at him her face went from a frown to a large smile. He was a nicely toned man, well dressed for someone that would giver her the time of day. He must be a kind murchent or something, her eyes went form him to the form that new sat at his feer.
With the sight of his wolf, Allaire shouted with glee. She rushed to the wolf, and rapped her arms about him, she loved animals more then people, other than Black Star and Alexa that is. "Thank you mister!" She looked up at him, her hands petting his wolf softly.

Looking in a floor length mirror Crevan fixed his undershirt that shinned gold and then he glanced down at his cuffs and the deep green cloths he wore. Crevan's Clothes set off his hair and eyes, and he smiled. He wore one ring that exended to a sharp point at the end. His only weapon would be that, and the guards that would accompany him. Tonight the King would go with the simplest crown, seeing as it was also gold it matched perfectlly with his entire out fit. The King brushed his hands through his hair, giving it his favorate look and placed the crown on his head, finished buttoning the gold clips. He turned away and knelt down to coax out 'Sheri. "Come Mi'sheri, t'is time to go. Surly the Princess's, and the Queen are ready." The King picked up 'Sheri and cratching her head she licked his hands as he walked outside of his quarters, he walked down the brightly lite halways that spanded to the point it could fit five people standing elbow to elbow. He strolled down many doors, some lock some open and some closed. He stopped and knocked on several, five to be exact. At each do he said "Come girls, the festival fires are fading. We need to make an apperience. You all need some fun." or something along those lines. While Crevan walked down the hall with 'Sheri traling at his heals he could see the two guards that constantly trailed him. 'Why they are always there, never out of my sight' They never would be but Crevan sometimes greatly disliked having to always be followed, and yet he would not want them away. Crevan stopped to gaze outside of a open window. Down at all of the lively music and dancing, oh how he wanted to dance and he would ask his wife, the Queen. Tonight he would try to be there for her, and make sure that she didnt go bilistic. He sighed and then turned back to the final door he would knock on. "Time to go into the Dungen 'Sheri." He said to the little fox that stayed close to his feet. Usually Mi'Sheri never got close enough to trip him but as it were fate would be crule to the king. At the very moment that 'Sheri setpped on Crevan's heel happen to be the very moment that the Queen would walk out and and see Crevan slam into her door frame as he caught himself.

The young girl handed over a small bag of metallic clangs, Erech presumed inside was golden coins. He didn't care too much, thief or not this young girl was within Ellsinora's walls and attending the Spring Festival. Erech was not going to allow anything to spoil the occasion. A small crowd had formed around him, which quickly disbanded as the man walk away from Erech and the girl. Ellesar gnarled his teeth as the man walked away but was soon calmed as the young girl dived at the wolf. Hugging it with all her force, Erech smiled and began to chuckle as she thanked him whilst still grasping Ellesar. "Your welcome young lady. His names Ellesar, once of the Mountain Wolf clans. Do you not have any elders watching over you, young one?"
Erech made conversation but he already knew the answer to the quick, his enhanced eyesight had picked up on a young woman. She had angered as the situation occured, and after calming from seeing Erech deal with the situation she continued to watch them. However, as he turned his head to look at the young woman a horn blew. The royals were about to make their appearance. Erech, twisted his body and with his increase vision watched the royals make there debut appearance. He wasn't so much watched the royals themselves, he was looking out for any out of the ordinary behaviors. If one was to spring onto the royals, Erech would take action, but the night seemed filled with joy. Not many people were excluded from the laughter, dance and songs. However, there still was a few and Erech kept a watchful eye on all of them.

Black Star watched with interest and noticed Suko but still focused for a bit watching Allaire. Then taking a few steps toward Suko the outlaw queen was about to speak when the horn sounded. She whipped around and a devilish light entered her eyes. She planned something, and it would probably either be very good for the Grellon's reputation or it would kill her. Black Star was in a good mood as well the most of the outlaw, and they were all daring and bold tonight. In her gypsy attire Black Star whipped around and gave a sharp whistle toward Allaire. The outlaw had been pretty proud of Allaire's little bad trick, clever girl. "Come Allaire, the fun is only beginning. Perhaps you will see Princess Alexa again yes?" Black Star placed a hand gently on Suko's shoulder, "We will talk soon Suko, I promise. I have to arrange a little something."
Black Star placed her hand to her lips and blew hard, giving out a very loud and piercing whistle. This was followed by the horn blowing again as Black Star headed for the town square again. It was easy to tell which townsfolk knew of her because she very soon had a small group behind her. Guards were starting to trickle through as Black Star darted into the circle of dancing people and gave a simple hand motion. Like magic, most of the dancers faded into the crowd. The outlaw queen herself went to stand in the crowd, partially hidden by a couple elderly old women. The Grellon waited and watched, knowing that Black Star was up to some trick. They also knew she hated the queen and Princess Abbie. Though they were behind their leader, they were also ready to hold her back if things went to far.

Liliandil stood in her lavish bedroom staring at her face and admiring that marvelous scar that graced her features just above her left brow. As she stood there she heard a faint whimper from beside her and she turned to see her favorite pet, Azell. This charming Irish Setter was like the Queen's fourth daughter, though she was treated as if she were her only daughter. Liliandil loved to dress the creature in fabulous robes specially outfitted for the canine some costing more than the Queen's own attire and always in golds and greens which contrasted nicely with the Setters red coat and golden eyes. Azell was currently robeless but as the Queen realized this she set off to the canines own private wardrobe and pulled out the newest addition to her attire, a green robe trimmed with gold border and had AZELL sewn into the corner of the robe. The Queen had even sent for the dog to have her own miniature crown in which to wear for special occasions such as this.
As for Liliandil herself? She picked out one of her rather simple gowns not wishing to "outshine" her people for King Crevan had bid her dress more simple for this occaision, though she could really mind less about that particular thing. Oh she was a good queen no doubt, she just didn't think of her people in quite the way her husband did. She would rather show herself off and be the premodonna she was born, than put herself at her peoples level. So, sticking to her husbands wishes, she dressed somewhat simply, opting for a rather smallish gown with only a minimal amount of gold embellishment here and there her gold colored heels and her rather small crown adorning her head. Once she was sure both Azell and she were set she walked to the door of her room and opened it. As she did so she so luckily witnessed her husband trip upon his fox and Liliandil promptly laughed aloud committing the moment to her memory so as to forever remind him of it. Her peeling laughter carried down the hallway and the guard that accompanied her husband gave her a curious glance before looking businesslike once more.

The kings face broke out instantly in a flare of red, pink blush and he straightened himself and he smiled at his wife. He rested his arm against the door for a moment, looking down at his wife. "Ha yes, it appears that 'Sheri cant keep to herself. And you know my true clummsyness. . . I assume you are ready my dear?" Crevan looked at the Queen and then quitely said "you look ravishing as you always do my Queen." Crevan said, and a look of admiration came over his eyes as he gazed at his wife. Why he stayed with this cruel woman astonded every person in the kingdom, and even himself sometimes. But he admired her although she pestered him and hurt him so. The king put out his arm for his wife to take. Crevan turned towards their daughters rooms "I do love how you look, and so shall the people. What have our children chosen to where? Other than Abbie i know, but will the rest of the family be in the royal colors?" Crevan looked behind him to peer at Azell, "A lovely outfit for a. . your dog." The king thought that the dog was over dressed, lots of gold, he tred to not raise his nose at the dog so he turned back to his wife and stepping over the excited fox that darted around their feet. 'Sheri gave a small yelp and then after her nerves settled she fell in a calm step behind Crevan. "Will we be traveling down with the princesses? Or shall we take this festival night to ourselves? I could escort you down, and we could enjoy a strol through the town and maybe a dance if your up to it." The king loved to dance, but with the Queens limp it was always a gamble whether he would dance.

Suko took the brush off okay, as she had promised to talk later. But she frowned slightly as later could be after they get back to camp and then that would be later than she liked. As Black Star headed for the dance floor, Suko darted back to the treeline, and scurying up the nearest tree, ran back to the place she was before, passing a few faries but niether her nor them disturbed each other.
She arrived just as Black Star did and watched as gaurds moved around and her leader hid near some elderly women. Suko knew that she might get into no good but other Grellon members where there to intervine, so if they did have to leave, Suko would stay and watch for a while after then report if anything intresting happens. Another horn blow made her wince as it had been near and ahe hated loud noises. The royals would be coming soon and then Black Star would either make her move or keep the peace. Either way, Suko wasn't moving again till all the fun had ended and the royals departed as there very presance would make things either interesting or dangerous.
Making a few calculations, Suko moved a few trees over to where she would have a better view of the thrones and still see the dance floor. Then, finding a sturdy and comfy branch, settled down for what promised to be a long night.

Alexa's gaze was riveted towards the window, her ice colored eyes staring down upon the site of the festival below. The town was teaming with people and even from above, she could sense the festivities below and could see the wild activities that went on about the town. Her eyes were watching the twinkling of sprites that dotted the trees, the extra glow that surrounded the Queen Fairy herself as well as she too appeared at the festival and then even as the festivities went about and the Princess gathered her silks about her frame, dressed rather extravagantly and rich for she was the future queen and at twenty two against her aging mother, she was often dressed to shine for she was the heir to the throne and it was meant to be seen so while Abbie became studded with rubies to match her rich reds and golds folded in with ivory, Alexa was dressed in royal purples and light blues to bring out the pop in her ice colored eyes. Her hair fell in waves along her back studded with orchids and tiny diamonds whom of which had been weaved into an intricate netted design along the top of her honey colored tresses. The gold accented skirts fell down along her legs and she paused for a moment, hearing her father's words outside of the door and she smiled patiently, casting a glance towards the door for a brief moment before she closed her eyes lightly instead, sighing softly. The maid finally finished and she stood from the table, peering at her own reflection in the mirror as hours of work stared back at her, hours of working on her attire and making sure that all was in order for there was a stir in the air, a hopes she knew from her own father that perhaps a suitor would arise for his daughter on this night. She grinned lightly at the thought and rolled her eyes, a vague twinkle of amusement within her gaze at the thought as she turned and made her way out onto the balcony once more with a soft sigh.
Her form now held a slight air of tension, stress weighing down her shoulders a bit as the festival mood began to fade for a few moments. Her thoughts trickled back to earlier that day when they had faced the Lord Dragon Kaori and the Queen Titania and how the pair had brought the news that Black Star herself had already delivered to the Princess before. The news of the war and threat to their lands. She winced at the thought of the troubles that plagued both herself and her royal family, lifting her slender hands to rub at her temples. Her delicate lashes fluttered closed over her dazzling eyes for a moment and her tongue traced the roof of her mouth in circles, nerves. Finally, she paused. The sounds of a scuffle in the town square below distracting her and she paused to cast a glance away from the stony courtyard, following the path towards the Inn. The glowing lights of the tavern and inn peered out into the darkening night. The glowing lanterns lit a way all through town in vibrant colors and it lit up the scene before herself. She had already seen sights of groups of Grellon passing in and out among the people who all milled and weaved about through the town square and through the festival and at the moment, she could catch sign of the young girl being dragged from the trees, fighting as the man pulled her so. She gasped vaguely, wishing dearly that she could make out the face of the girl but at her distance, it was impossible even if it was Allaire but as the dark stranger stepped in, Erech, she breathed a sigh of relief, her hands fluttering above her heart for a moment though she soon became satisfied, curious what it would be like to be there, in town with them and not in billowing skirts and dazzling diamonds but in a simple skirt and blouse which showed her form and allowed her for more movement. As it was, her slim body was evident, her feminine features showing clearly and yet, her royal lines a pin prick to the face all at once. Yes as she stood there staring out across the sight of the stony town square, she finally gathered herself, turning from the balcony she stepped back into the room with the soft click of her slightly heeled shoes studded with tiny gems and gold accent though she never fully understood why for the skirts that they dressed her in often fanned out far enough that the shoes were unseen for it was absolutely forbidden that a Princess should show any indecent amount of skin in public before she has taken the throne, or a husband and even then it was rather looked down upon for they were figure heads, the sight of the city, the ones that were looked to for guidance. Whatever happened behind closed doors, however, was at the mercy of the Queen herself, apparently though Alexa had often wondered about the times that her daring sister Abbie darted about the castle in nothing but a slip for all the guards to see though Alexa, intricately full of wisdom knew better. Her sister did not do it to go against her own mother, she did it with a secret soft spot for those who were not royal. The guards of which could be seen lingering in their quarters at night if they didn't dwell in town and without their armor on, more then a handful of them were lined thick with muscle and wickedly masculine bodies the like Alexa was certain drove her sister wild. The second Princess had a spot for the danger, the men that were technically out of her reach and yet, the Princes that were quite often shipped in to be viewed for any of the Princesse's tended to be far too feminine themselves.
Alexa wrinkled her nose at the thought and sighed as she stepped back into her room, releasing the silks for a moment as she turned to pull the balcony doors closed behind herself and draw the curtains across the windows. Her movements were slow, prepared and careful as she made her way back into her room, pausing at the mirrored sitting table to gaze at her own reflection, her features intricately and undeniably beautiful, the likes of which lifted her spirits a bit and no doubt there would be many eyes on her as she made her entrance to the festival. She took a deep breath and lowered her hands to gather her tiara and lift it to settle it onto her head. Inlaid with many diamonds, it glittered like a beacon in the night. She touched a finger to the lengthy diamond studded necklace at her neck and sighed softly, one finger studded with a ring to match. She took a slight breath and stepped forward slowly once more as she this time turned for the door, holding her breath briefly as a maid smiled and swung the door open and no matter how beautiful she thought the princess was, she held her tongue as they all did around the castle, typically forbidden anything but to hold their silence and to do what they were told though quite often out of range of her mother's ears, she conversed with the women around the castle, believing in treating others rather fairly as her kind heart won out. She offered a soft smile to the maid and nodded slightly with a quiet murmur of thanks as she stepped out into the hall, her chin lifting with the royal slant, her cheeks flushed with a soft pink to accentuate her unblemished skin as she stepped forward. The soft whisper of silks, the tiny clicks, and the jingle of the diamonds that studded her skin like water and yet with her slightly tanned and yet porcelain features, the stud only accentuated her more natural beauty. Grinning softly, she finally began to gear up for the festival ahead of her.

Not far along the hall remained the bedroom of the second eldest Princess. She was exactly two doors down with the youngest Princess Tryphena poised between them. For the King himself had worried that if she was too high, she would be in danger if anything happened to the castle and no one could reach her and yet if she was too low, it would take her longer to reach help. So, when all else failed and the blonde haired Princess showed up swaddled in pink cloth, the King had finally decided to move his second daughter down one and to stick the youngest in between for he felt the the eldest should have the room she wanted and the heir to the throne to be displayed as the Queen she would one day become though, when that did happen and the Queen Lilandil and the King Crevan were gone, she would take the master bedroom for the head royals. For now, however, Abigail remained at the bottom of the three adjoining rooms, rather not having been happy when she had been moved to the bottom and only further fueling her anger towards her eldest sister. Now, however, she sat before the mirror practically glaring at her reflection as if demanding her demeanor to be as pristine and beautiful as her eldest sister.
With rubies splayed across the carved table in front of herself you would think that there would be no problems with her selection for gems were a hard to come by item in the kingdom and for the royals whom easily came into them for their stature and money, it was not such a rare item and for which you would think would please the Princess Abbie and yet, she felt deep within her bitter form that somehow, Alexa would outshine her because for some reason the future Queen always seemed able to pull off anything that studded her body. The damned woman could make Onyx look dazzling if she had to. But when ever Abigail made her gem selections, Aleca always seemed to show up with something even more dazzling and she had come to ponder how on earth it was that her eldest sister got the best, and yet she never seemed to. Gritting her teeth however, she mumbled sharply to the maid at her back who was folding her hair once again into a thick but elegant braid, weaved with fresh red roses and ribbon for Abigail had been sure that there was no way that Alexa would be able to beat red roses. Weren't they the most prized floral piece in the land? Not necesarily. However, instead of wearing any greens and golds or even purples and blues like her sister, she had selected a more outgoing path with her vibrant crimson and ivory accentuated with gold edging. Believing that this would finally put her a step ahead of her sister, she stood from her mirror at once, jumping slightly at the knock on her door, followed by the words of her father. She grit her teeth and cast a glance towards the door, frazzled all over again, "I'll be out when I'm ready!" she commanded sharply with a roll of her eyes before she turned sharply with a squeal, "Where are my shoes!" she demanded of the maid who hurriedly struggled to finish up with her braid and floral designs before whisking away to collect the ivory shoes that would go with Abigail's attire while another scooped ruby rings onto her fingers, a necklace at her neck and a bangle of rubies at her wrists. Finally, the princess stood straight, huffing with a curt nod as she inspected herself and sighed, wondering what on earth this would bring her on this night other then a rather boring night out among the people of Ellsinora of whom she did not look forward to mingling with.
She drew the line at kindness. These people with little money and poor attire in her eyes. She did not want her hands kisssed by people or touched by the grimy street childen. She would settle for a bow at her feet for surely that would feel nice, as long as they kept their hands to themselves and she would allow only a select few of which she hand picked to allow in closer, that being selections for a possible husband which seemed to be becoming increasingly harder for her, strangely enough but yet she hardly felt upset about it for while she still went without any adoring men, so did Alexa who did not seem to have any with their eyes on her, either. The thought made her grin and as Abbie turned for the door, she took a deep breath and assured herself that tonight, at least, she would look and hopefully she would be bringing a fish on a hook home with her tonight.

As the Princesse's turned to the door, neither knew that at that same moment, the other had finished and while they were raised beneath the same roof with the same bloodlines and up bringing they could not be any more different. For the one to the right, Alexa, smiled, her features soft and inviting, her heart king. To the left however, Abbie nearly scowled with a bitter sweet smile that would poison the heart of a child. As their doors swung open and each stepped from her room, Alexa paused, hearing the voices of her parents along the halls a ways. She smiled at the thought and sighed softly as she turned to make her way towards them to make her entrance with the rest of the royals at the festival and yet, as she turned she was faced by the sight of her red sister. She smiled patiently, nodding slightly to Abbie but she did not speak for the look on Abbie's face was all she needed, priceless and infuriated, the raven haired princess whipped about and darted down the stairs, her voice echoing within the halls, "Mother! Mother!" she demanded as she darted down the steps towards the King and Queen, gathering her skirts for a moment as she made her way down the stairs, huffing as she finally slowed, bringing the pair into view.
A slight smile touched her features at the sight of her mother, rather simply dressed as she could tell and she ignored the dog. She could hear the soft click of Alexa's shoes not far behind and her frown soon returned, "Mother! Mother!" she demanded with a scowl as she gazed into the faces of her parents, "Have you seen her? Have you seen that terrible witch, she has stolen the gems! She is wearing too much, why don't I look like that?" she demanded with a steady frown, glancing back as the elder princess descended the stairs, silent for now as she came to face her parents with a gentle gleam to her eye and a soft smile on her face this time, waiting patiently with a vague sigh as Abbie threw a bit of a fit.
