Don't they get it? Don't they understand? So many of them murmur and mutter about how simple it is to be royal. You have all the money that you'll ever need, the land, the power, the best clothes, the best horses. She laughed quietly, her quill poised within her right hand made of course of only the brightest pristine white feather from some sort of bird that she couldn't remember at the moment. Her journal was propped open under her elbow, her manners book open to her left. Her mother had of course set her to study her manual once again when she had discovered that one of Alexa's sleeves was stained with dirt from a night time adventure and when she had demanded where it had come from she managed to mutter something about slipping and falling around the castle which wasn't necesarily a lie but nor was it the straight truth either. It's not like she spent her entire life trying to plot the smoothest lies for she was indeed honest but oh how her mother would instantly put a stop to her adventures if she found out. The thought of horse back riding brought laughter to her tongue. Also something that her mother worried about and if not for her more sensible King of a father, she would ride on nothing less then the stable nag. No doubt kept in fabulous condition but also rather bomb proof and life less. She sighed. Now, confined to her bedroom at her desk by the window to study over her manners of balance and keeping her clothes clean and pristine. As if she didn't already know. She sighed softly, propping her head in one hand as she sent a glance out of the window, her eyes traveling to the trees that led to either the Celeste Falls or the Oreste Mountains, thoughtful. If only her mother knew how she really got around to her riding. She grinned lightly at the thought and sighed softyl, tucking a strand of her honey brunette hair behind her ear before lowering her gaze once more. Just as she began to grow restless, a servant passed into the room with a pleasant smile and an all too sweet voice as she lowered a gleaming iron pot of tea to her dresser and tipped a small cup of the steaming liquid before holding it out to the princess with a smile but Alexa waved her away and turned her back, folding her hands into her lap as she peered out of the window, curious where her sisters linger. While she loved them, she worried that if ever they were to find out about her, they would rat her out. She nibbled her lip at the thought and stared from the window, the sun was beginning to sink. She grinned, soon it would be time to go out.
