ARTEMISIA, Defy gravity. OCC- This is a continuation of “ A Rare Occurrence (Orlonox, Artemisia)” (: Have fun Des. Artemisia slid off the dragons back, she watched as he moved on ahead, crawling into the cave. She wasn’t sure what to think, exactly. She didn’t find his dragon form scary, she rather liked it. She found that Orlonox’s true form was rather beautiful. She followed him into the cave, looking around over the kills before darting under the protection of the cool damp cave. She watched as he rocked back onto his hances, laying his body on the ground of the cave. Artemisia didn’t really mind the cave, she had lived in worst conditions. She smiled, it wasn’t bad at all. She ran her hand on the side of the cave, feeling the rough interior. Her eyes fell on the arrow that had pierced the dragon’s skin. Her smiled instantly disappeared. She moved swiftly over to the dragon, laying on the floor. She bent down close to his ears, and whispered “I know of a herb that can help your arm heal, I will be back.” She kissed his scaly cheek and straightened herself. She looked around, grabbed a small canteen, and strapped it around her shoulder, she looked back once more at Orlonox before she left. “I will be right back. Promise.”
Outside of the swamp. She could detect a strong acid smell in the water. No doubt it was contained high amounts of acid, that would most likely kill her. Slowly, Artemisia walked over the hill that surrounded the swamp. Beyond the hill, lay a small stream. Perfect. Surrounding the stream were rows and rows of the herd called Diamusia, a herb strong enough to quicken the healing process. She quickly picked a large dose of it, placing it her pocket. She followed the stream to where it ended, it drained into a small pool. Fish thrived in this small sanctuary. Perfect food, although Artemisia wasn’t hungry. Quickly, she started to undress. She dipped into the pool. It had been forever since she had indulged herself in cool water. She dipped her head under the water, coming up only a few seconds later. She washed, and slipped out of the pool shaking her hair, at an attempt to dry it. She slipped back into her shirt and skirt. She dipped her canteen into the cool water, filling it to the very top, Orlonox would need water to help his wound heal.
She slowly walked back to the cave, entering as quiet as she could, attempting to not disturb him. She sat near a rock, beginning to prepare the herb. She decided to wait until he woke, the herb was painful, but it helped a wound heal within a couple hours. She had no more doubt that she wanted to be with him. She knew this was truly where she belonged, with him.

Orlonox sighed, his eyes drifting open for a brief moment as he cast a glance after Chloe for a moment thoughtfully before his eyes drifted closed again instead with a soft huff. The dragon pondered for a brief moment whether she might be leaving him. She said that she would be back, she promised but he still couldn’t help a slight twinge of fear deep within himself that for some reason she just might not return. However, as he laid there, he could not deny the rest that he so dearly needed. He briefly considered shifting back to human again but after his initial shift he had a possibility of getting sick with the large draw of energy that it took from him. Within moments, he had slid into blackness.
The dragon remained asleep for quite some time. The light outside faded into black and the sun rose once again. It was late afternoon of the next day before he began to stir once again. The dragon shifted, yawning. He stretched his limbs with a sigh and groaned softly with a flick of his tail. He shifted against the cavern wall as the late afternoon sun filtered into the cave from the outside world. Huffing softly, smoke curled from his nostrils to dissipate within the air once again as he turned his gaze, glancing towards the entrance of the cavern before he glanced around himself with a huff. He stretched his limbs thoughtfully before glancing back towards Chloe instead with a grin. He growled softly and brought his muzzle around to rest his head close to her cheek, offering a warm breath against her cheek before he lifted his head to glance over her thoughtfully now instead. He felt a typical rumble within his stomach and sighed, flicking his tail slightly as he shifted and slowly climbed to his feet. He scented the herbs within Chloe’s hands for a few moments before he huffed softly and turned his gaze again, padding forward to the mouth of the cavern as he glanced out across the landscape of the swamp.
The world seemed rather silent at the moment. There was no chirp of birds or flitter of animals as they passed through on their way to the forest. As he awoke, he realized that something had changed. The forest that had once stood was now engulfed in flames. There was smoke curling into the sky as the last of the fire died down. He huffed softly, wondering what had happened in the wake of his nap. He glanced back towards Chloe but he was satisfied that she was safe and doubted that she knew any better then he what had happened while they rested within the dark interior of the cavern. As the dragon scanned the sight of the burned forest, he sighed, frowning. Apparently there had been a stir, a change in the air from the moment that he had bedded down to rest until now. The air was thick with tension that seemed to radiate from Ohanzee quite a ways off but even from here, the dragon could feel it however, he huffed and turned away. He made his way back into the cavern now coming to face Chloe with a dragon like smile as he sighed and sank down before her, crouching upon the stone as he watched her thoughtfully. He glanced towards the arrow in his arm and glanced over the arrow for a moment with a huff before he glanced back towards her again in silence now, realizing that she probably would not understand him and if she ever would be able to vaguely decipher what he implied in dragon form would take quite some time for her to learn, years perhaps so for now he simply remained silent and offered her a questioning look as to what she was doing at the moment.
