Kaori struggled to breath, his large claws digging at the stone beneath him. In the past few months his dragon magic has started to fad from him, and that left his great body weak almost like a hatching, and at his old age being as weak as a hatching was no good thing. His mountains where dieing, and he was slowly weakening with that lost of the natural strength of the forests and wildlife that once where strong. So with his weak magic Kaori had flown over his sad forest and over the decaying Ellsinora and had came into the temple of Aracariella to gain the little knowledge and guidance that a dragon of his age could.
He was not one to seek the gods when things grew dark, he was a old beast, one that only looked to himself to fix things, so him coming to see the mighty goddess was a sign that things where FAR from okay, that his nerves alone where not enough to calm him and his worrying.
The Dragon laughed softly to himself, feeling slightly defeated. He had not talked to the Goddess in over 500 years, and he wondered how she would receive him after so long, he was not the most loyal of followers she had... The dragon laughed again, sending trimmers down his body. Oh yes, he was far from loyal...
He padded further in, his claws clicking on the solid, polished stone beneath his paws. The temple was grand, but it used to be more, it used to be filled with gold and priceless gems, it used to hold any wealth that was envied by any live creature. and it seemed that in the 500 years of his last visit things have changed... He moved onto the altar, that at least still shinned with gold and silver, well at least for now, how long would it take for looters to find there way into this temple and take what was not there as they had with the other gold. The Dragon sighed, it was not just his mountains any free land that once swam with life was slowly decaying and his mountains was taking him with it...
"Great Goddess, Here me, I need to have a chat..."
